Chapter 10- Skinny dipping and babysitting

"What do you guys want for dinner?" I asked grabbing the phone to order food.

"Actually, I thought that we could go on our date tonight" Ashton said behind me. He wrapped his arms around me from behind and kissed my cheek. He rested his chin on my shoulder and swayed us back and forth.

"They still have to eat" I said turning my head to the side looking at him.

He pecked my lips and smiled, saying "No they don't".

"Yes we do!" Calum defended.

"Fine what do you guys want?"

"Pizza" Luke said.

"Ice cweam!" Annabell said.

"I agree!" Calum said giving Annabell a high-5.

I rolled my eyes and said "Pizza it is. What do you guys want on it?"

"Pepperoni, cheese, peppers, mushro-" Michael started.

"Okay order it" I said tossing the phone to him.

He grunted and started dialing the number.

I grabbed my coat, slipping it on along with my boots.

"Now you kids behave, Annabell's curfew is 9" I told Calum.

"Alright we will babysit her"

"Okay thanks"

"You ready babe?" Ashton asked putting his arm around me.

"Yep" I smiled. We walked out of the house and out to the car.

"Where are we going?" I asked getting into the passenger seat.

"I was thinking that Chinese place that we used to go to" Ashton said started the engine.

"Sounds good to me"

We arrived at the restaurant and went inside.

"How many?" the waitress asked.

"Two"

"Right this way please"

She lead us to a table in the corner and set down the menus.

"What would you like to drink?" she asked getting out paper and a pen.

"I'll have water please" I said.

"Make that two" Ashton said looking at the menu.

"Alright, I will be right back"

The waitress came back with our water and sat them on the table. I scanned over the menu and decided to order orange chicken and rice. I closed my menu and took a sip of water.

"Are you ready to order?" she asked, her Chinese accent so thick I could barely tell what she said.

"I'l have the orange chicken and rice please" I said handing her my menu.

"I'm going to have the lobster and potatoes" Ashton said handing her the menu.

She nodded her head and went to the kitchen.

"I'm stuffed!" I said leaning back in my chair.

"Do you have enough room for a fortune cookie?" he asked.

"Sure" I said grabbing the last fortune cookie on the table. I unwrapped it from it's packaging and cracked it in half. I read the fortune and gasped. It said 'Will you be my girlfriend? xx'.

"Will you?" Ashton asked smiling.

"Of course!" I said.

"Yay!"

He paid for dinner and left a tip on the table. We walked outside hand in hand, swinging them back and forth.

"I had a good time tonight" I said smiling at him.

"You want to know what would make it better?" he asked.

"What?"

"Going skinny dipping!"

He dragged me to the car and we started driving to a small lake next to a meadow. We used to go there all the time to go swimming with Calum, Michael, and Luke. But this time it was just us. He ran out to the lake, and went to the end of the dock.

"Brooke, are you coming?" he asked.

I shook my head and stood planted where I was.

He started walking towards me and I started walking backwards. As I was walking backwards, I ran into the car and had no where else to go. Ashton put his arms on either side of me, trapping me with the car to my back. He leaned in and kissed me, our lips colliding, firing fireworks all over the place. I started to feel butterflies in my stomach. I always felt them when I was around Ashton. He pulled away, still trapping me on the car.

"So, are you going to come?"

"Fine" I sighed, following Ashton out to the dock. I started to get nervous be cause I don't really like being unchanged in front of people. Ashton sensed that I was nervous, so he reassured me.

"Brooke relax, we'll stay in our underwear."

He started to peel his shirt off and tossed it to the side. He slid off his pants and jumped in the lake. He resurfaced and shook his hair.

"C'mon, Brooke!"

"Don't look" I said.

He rolled his eyes and said "I've seen you naked before Brooke".

"Stilll" I whined.

"Fine" he huffed and turned around.

I took off my shirt and shorts, and tossed them next to Ashton's clothes. I hopped in and once my skin came in contact with the freezing water, I screeched.

"Ashton why didn't you tell me it was so damn cold?!" I screamed and slapped his arm.

"Ow!" he screamed and held his arm.

"Sorry"

"Kiss it" he whined.

"Ugh, fine" I said and kissed his arm.

"Thank you" he smiled and kissed my lips.

"Ashton it's colddd" I said shivering.

"Come here" he motioned and wrapped me in his surprisingly warm arms. I laid my head on his chest.

"Let's get you inside" he said and we started to get out. I was even colder now since I was wet and the breeze was blowing on my wet skin. I shivered and bent down to get my clothes. Ashton slapped my butt and I gasped kicking him in the leg.

"Oh your gunna get it" he said and I ran away with Ashton hot on my tail. I screamed and ran to the car, getting in and closing the door. He laughed and walked over to the drivers seat. He got in and I turned the heat up. I flipped on the butt warmer and he laughed. I flipped his on too, and we started to drive home. We pulled into my driveway a couple minutes later and I started to put on my clothes. Once I was changed I got out and went to the door. I forgot my home key, so I knocked on the door. Michael opened up the door, and Ashton and I walked in. Calum smirked at us and said "You guys are really wet". Luke and Michael started cracking up and I just shook my head and walked up stairs. I went into my room, but when I was about to close the door, Ashton's foot prevented me from closing it.

"Can I pleaseeee sleep with you?" he asked giving me the puppy eyes.

I sighed and nodded my head, closing the door behind him. He plopped on the bed and I went to the dresser, grabbing my pj's and a towel.

"Can I join you?" he asked smirking.

"Nope" I said popping the 'p'.

I walked into the bathroom and shut the door behind me. I slipped off my clothes and turned on the shower, hopping in and letting the warm water fall on my skin. I washed my hair and skin, and shaved my legs. I turned off the shower, and right when I was about to get out, the door opened and Luke ran inside.

"LUKE!" I screamed covering myself with the shower curtain.

"Sorry but I'm hiding from Calum. And be quiet Annabell is sleeping".

"You just have to hide in here?"

"Fine" he huffed and went outside leaving the door wide open.

"Jerk" I muttered to myself and grabbed my towel, wrapping myself in it and closed the door, making sure to lock it. I got changed and brushed my teeth and washed my face. I braided my hair and walked back into my bedroom hopping on the bed. Ashton was laying down, playing on his phone.

"Hey" I said scooting over to his face.

"Hey" he smiled pecking my lips.

"Did you shower?" I asked.

"Yep"

"Coolio" I said and turned off the light, snuggling into the blanket. Ashton scooted next to me and wrapped his arms around me, pulling me into his chest.

"Goodnight beautiful"

"Goodnight handsome"
