Mikey POV

Well, this is a great end to the party. Everyone's together, drinking and having a good time, trying to forget what happened earlier. Also, everyone is with somebody or with a group.

Jade invited some people over to the apartment so that we could party a little bit. All the people that were kicked out of Cat's last night are here tonight. Small party though, probably only like 30 people.

It's nice though, we all finally get to relax. I look over to where Calum was, and He's now on the balcony with Tori, having a smoke.

That's new.

Almost every girl he's been into has been against him smoking. Or drinking. Or doing anything. He left his last girlfriend because she wanted him to quit the band.

That took some major balls, but he's been happier ever since. She was a huge bitch.

I look around and I couldn't believe what I was seeing. Cat and Jasey. Talking. More than talking, hanging out. Enjoying each others company

I thought they hated each other.

I mean Cat hasn't said that she had any problems with Jasey, but I always kept Jasey away from Cat because I knew Jasey didn't like that I was "replacing" her as the priority person.

In reality, if Jasey said she needed me for something and I was with Cat, i'd drop whatever I was doing and help Jasey.

The guys all understand, and even Jade does too. Which is weird because Jade and Cat are best friends.

But they've been best friends for as long as me and Jasey have been, so Jade would leave Beck's to be with Cat if something was wrong or she needed help.

But Jase and Cat are talking, and Beck's dancing with Jade and some other people.

Luke and Ash are talking to some girls over by the counter. A blonde and a brunette.

Not bad.

I pass by them and grab another beer from the fridge, grabbing some extra's in case Cat or Jasey want one.

I finally get to my two favorite girls, and hand Jasey a beer. Jasey gives me a hug and I hand the other beer to Cat.

"How are you guys liking tonight?" I ask, speaking loud enough over the music.

Cat takes a swig of her beer and replies with, "Good! I'm gonna give you guys some space to talk! I'll be with Jade and Beck!"

And with that, she was gone. Leaving Jase and I all by ourselves.

We stood in an uncomfortable silence until she asked, "Is everything ok?"

I looked at her  while drinking some of the ale in my hand and replied with, "Yes, i'm just worried about you."

"Why?" She asked, wide-eyes looking up at me with the orbs of chocolate staring right at my face.

"Because, what happened last night and how i've been treating you is terrible," I say, pausing to sip my beer. "I feel like I disappeared from you. And I should do that because you're my best friend."

"Don't feel guilty," She began, "You got a girlfriend, and the band is here now so it's alright. Just because your life is going somewhere, doesn't mean you should stop your life for me." She said, looking at her feet.

"Hey, Look at me," I say, looking at her, "No matter what happens, girlfriend or not, you're still the most important person in my life. If something was wrong, i'd drop whatever I was doing to help you."

She looked back at her feet and hugged me tighter than before.

Than I feel her mumble something into my chest.

"What was that? You got some shirt in your mouth." I remark, causing her to giggle.

"I  said, can you stay here tonight?" She said with a pleading look on her face. "I just don't feel comfortable staying here alone..." She trailed off.

"Oh," I started. "Well I was gonna stay here regardless. I don't know where the boys are staying though. But i'm staying here with you." I say, reassuringly.

"Ok," She says with a smile. "Thank you."

She lets go and I walk back over to where Cat, Beck and Jade were, only to find that Cat was missing.

Odd... Where is she?

"Hey guys, where's Cat?" I ask, worried.

Jade nonchalantly slurred that she was in my room, with Beck asking whether he should shut it down.

I glanced at the clock and saw that it was 3:45am.

That would be a good idea. Don't need a noise complaint.

I nodded and made my way towards my room, as Beck shut the music off and told everyone who wasn't a personal friend of mine or Jasey's to leave.

Before I go into my room, I hear a choked groan and an whimper of pain.

What the hell?...

As soon as I opened the door, the sight caused me to drop my beer on my floor.

No fucking way...
