TO THE STORY WHICH STARTS

Mikey POV

I guess if i'm gonna go back to school, I better do it in a way that EVERYONE notices that i'm back.

I wait until Jasey leaves the apartment before Beck and Calum come over to help me out.

Why did she leave at like 6?

Oh well, this gives me time to dye my already bleached hair.

My hair's gonna be black and i'm gonna do a whole wardrobe change.

I enlisted the help of Calum and Beck because... Well... Calum is the closest to me really. I mean, the other guys don't smoke, so we've had some good conversations while killing our lungs.

And Beck. Well... Come on, the guys a natural fashion icon. The guy can make sweatpants look good.

...

Don't tell him I said that.

I open the door and the guys come strolling in, one handing me a coffee and the other walking me to the bathroom with the dye in his hand.

"So why are we doing this again?" Beck asked as he sat at the counter.

"Because," I start. "I need a change in my life. No more of this clean cut bullshit." I state calmly.

After a couple seconds of silence, Calum calls out from the bathroom. "I don't buy it!"

I roll my eyes and give them the real reason.

Beck understood and I got up to go to the bathroom where Calum was. Beck followed me as well.

I sip the coffee while Calum sets up the hair dye.

"We have to make this clean and quick." Beck says, leaning against the door.

Calum finished setting up the hair dye and put gloves on. "Are you sure you want the whole head of hair?"

I thought for a second.

Let's throw a curveball.

"No." I state, "Just the middle." I say, smirking at all the thoughts in my head.

Calum applies the dye and Beck leaves to get Jade.

An hour soon passes and I rinse my hair out, looking in the mirror to not see the weak Mikey that there was before.

No.

This was the new, fuck you Mikey.

"You look sort of like Jack Barakat with that hair." Calum chuckles as he takes another drag of his cancer stick before telling me to get ready for school.

I go to my room and slide the ripped skinny jeans on, throwing my new Ozzy Osbourne tank top.

I look in the mirror on my door.

Something isn't right.

I look on my desk and I find it.

The bracelets that Jasey, the boys and my parents gave to me before we left.
