The Other Side

Hello California!

        "Welcome to our new home!" My mom said as she drove into the drive way of our new house. I sighed "Yeah great.." I said sarcasticly. I looked at my brother, Sean, He was smiling at the sight of our new house.  It was pretty huge.  "All our furniture was flown over here all ready and set up. all you guys need to do is unpack." My mom said continuing. I nodded and unbuckled my seat belt. Oh i almost forgot to introduce myself. My names Emily. Emily Matthews. Im 18 and just graduated from highschool! I have long brown hair and green eyes. Im tall at 5'8". My idols are our2ndlife. I love Connor Franta the most though. His everything is perfect. He lives in california so i guess moving here isnt entirely bad. ;)  I opened the car door and went over to the trunk and grabbed my suitcase and bags. I looked at the street. On the bright side its 5 minutes away from the beach and has a good skateboarding park 10 minutes away which has taco bell next too it. so this house deffinetly does not bad location. I dont mind moving. I mind leaving the town i grew up in since i was 3. Im 18 now. It was a small town, not many kids. My life there was pretty quiet. Then i move to the big city of los angeles. Its gonna take alot of adjusting not to mention i have no friends here. I left all my best friends back in New Jersey. So I'm pretty much starting fresh. New town, New me. Sean handed me our dog Bailey. He is a bichon frise and a little cutie. I picked him up and walked toward the door.

               I opened the door and all the furniture was there.It looked like someone already lives here. Kinda weird.   It was a huge house. As soon as you opened the door you have a little hall way and 2 openings, one is a staircase that leads upstairs to the bedrooms, the other leads to the living room, and when you go straight you go the kitchen. I set down bailey who immediatly went darting and looked around. I laughed a little and  looked outside into the backyard. Huge inground pool. I could get use to this house. I walked upstairs 2 a long hallway. I walked pass 2 bathrooms, my moms room,and my brothers room. Finally i reached my room. "woah." I said as soon as i entered. I placed my bags to the side and looks around. Huge. I even have my own bathroom. This is so crazy. I opened up my bags and started to unpack. The walls were painted blue from the person here before so i dont need to repaint. I put up my poster first. I put up my Good Vibes Connor Franta signed poster above my bed and hung up a few more all about our2ndlife. Then some 1D then 5SOS then 1 JB. I made my picture heart collage i made before and unpacked my clothes and put them in drawers. I put my movies next to my tv and arranged my bathroom with my straightner and makeup. I spent 2 hours unpacking everything. Finally i was done. Sean did the same thing. i went down stairs and walked into the living room my mom had already set up with pictures. She hasnt even worked on her room yet. but she filled up the kitchen and living room. Ok then.I flumped on the couch and grabbed the remote for the tv. Bailey jumped up and layed next to me wagging his tail. "Home sweet home huh?" I said petting him.
