Calum's P.O.V .

I immediately scanned the crowd as the referee called in for a break to give way to a special number from the opponent's cheer leading team.

I know how bad her memory was that every time I tell her something she would forget about it thirty minutes after - okay, that's a little too harsh. But no matter how forgetful she is, she wouldn't miss this game. I mean, she never misses any of my game nor any of our little gig around town.

And that's what I like about her.

I know it might not mean anything to her at all and maybe, just maybe, she feels obligated because she's stuck with me - but it means a lot heaps to me. I like Michelle - I like her since the first time I saw her when they moved here. I like watching her read and her weird obsession of sniffing the books telling me that it's her favourite scent ever. I love glancing at her every now and then whenever we eat ice cream because I know how much of messy eater she is that anytime soon a pinch of her honeycomb flavour ice cream would be sitting on the point of her nose.

But maybe I don't smell of books or is her favourite ice cream flavour - maybe she does not feel the same - so, I pushed back that thought at the back of my head. We hit it off as friends, until, soon enough, we become real close and started referring to each other as best friends.

Not until our first kiss last year that all my feelings rushed back in. We were at a house party - drinking and playing truth or dare. Everyone was buzzing to whether we're actually dating or not, so, when it was my turn and decided to go for a dare, they instructed me to give her a ten seconds kiss on the lips. Maybe it was the alcohol or because it was a game and I don't wanna kill the mood, but I know that I've been longing to do it ever since, so, after draining my fifth cup, I did it.

And, man, you should have seen it! It's nothing fancy actually - no tongue and not heated. Just a long sweet kiss. But I like how our lips were perfectly sealed with that kiss.

I decided not to confront her about my feelings. I don't wanna lose her. But I started sending her my admiration as I sneak roses every day in her locker. Sometimes I would put in letters. Luckily, she never caught me. I printed the notes instead of handwriting it. But, one time, Luke caught me. It's alright, he said it's cute and he's rooting for us.

"Hood!" Coach shouted, startling me. "Get in here!"

After our small talk and satisfying our thirst, we were called back in for the final round. I quickly scanned the crowd once again, in hopes to find her. Maybe she just lost track of time or maybe Ms. Everdeen kidnapped her for the meeting.

Second doesn't sound nice though.

"Alas! Your girl came," Luke smirked, standing beside me. I followed his gaze and locked eyes with the most beautiful girl I've ever seen smiling at me.

I smiled back, the biggest I could, as she waved at me and mouthed 'hey.'

"You're so in love with her," Luke continued, walking to his position. "I swear I'm making the move for you if you don't tell her after this game."

I shook my head, chuckling. "If we won, I'll think about it."

"It's just a tie," he pointed out. "But we're winning."

The game continued. And, with only minutes left and knowing she's in the crowd, I was determined to score the last goal and win this game.

Calum, if only you know she's into you two. I'll hit you with a bat. Not!

So, you rooting for them too like Luke? I'm thinking of a shipping name. Any suggestion?!
