Michelle's P.O.V.

Did he just said what I thought he said?

"What?" I asked, smirking as I raised my eyebrow.

"What?" He repeated, confused.

"You said th---"

"I know what I said. I was just messing with you," he chuckled. Then he sighed, looking serious. "But, really, I mean it. I just wanted to know your reaction."

"Why?" I asked.

"Because I mean it?" He said slowly, sounding more like a question.

"No. I mean," what do I mean anyway, I thought. "Why now? Why me? We're best friends. We---"

He cut me off again, as he laughed.

"You're cute," he said, kissing me on the nose. "I think that's exactly why I like you, because we're best friends. I knew you for a long time and we have this tight bond."

"That's why we're best friends," I pointed. "Don't mess with me, Hood."

Yes, don't, because I like you, too.

"You don't get it," he shook his head. "I like you since the first time I saw you. I like every single thing that you do - every damn thing about you. You were too nice and funny and we became really close so I pushed it all at the back of my mind, knowing that you obviously don't like me at all. But, as crazy as it sounds, I'm sure that I still feel the same for you. Even stronger. You don't know how hard it is for me. All I can think of is that I'm just stuck in the friend zone again and again."

Is this for real? Does my best friend actually feels the same for me?

"Then you're wrong," I said. His eyes widen, looking at me. "I've always liked you. I mean, not at first though. You know how I kinda like Luke that time."

"Yeah, but he's dating Arz that time," he rolled his eyes yet chuckling. "So, are you telling me that you like me, too?"

I shook my head, laughing. "Yes, Hood, I am. And, fine, I was kinda daydreaming with the thoughts of you awhile ago."

"I knew it!" He said happily.

"I'm basically aware that I was having a big crush on you," I explained. "But, I thought you were just so nice to me and everything. Because we're best friends, you know. I didn't want to lose you so I never said it."

"Same," he shrugged. "If only I knew, I would have handwritten the letters instead of printing them. I know how much you find it sweet!"

"Wait! What?" My eyebrows knitted. "You mean to say you're the one who puts the rose?"

He nodded, smiling proudly at himself.

"Of course! I should have seen it!" I giggled. "It's just the two of us who knows the lock!"
