Chapter Seven: No Strings Attached

I rolled over, hitting a hard metal rock but when I opened my eyes slowly it turned out it was Evan – naked under the blanket.

“Morning,” he greeted with a smile.

I at my body and my worst nightmare have come. Evan and I were naked in a queen bed. Worse than that is I don’t remember how I took off my clothes, or everything that happened to my after my fall.

“What happened last night?” I asked him.

“You don’t remember?” he asked. I shook my head. He grinned his crocked smile, “You lost your virginity yesterday.”

                “With who?” I asked.

                “Who else?” he asked.

“No,” I said. “Last night never happened. I never lost my V-card to you; I never intended to sleep with you.”

“Ah, but look at us now. You did do it.”

                “I don’t believe you,” I said.

“You better believe it because we’re both naked in one mattress the whole night we spent together doing our business and the best part was when you were moaning my name.”

No, I told myself. I don’t trust any of the words Evan is saying. He is a cheating, backstabbing, stealing monkey. He lies stuff about like these. But what I don’t get is why we are naked when last night I don’t remember anything. I don’t remember going up here, sleeping, or stripping my clothes off in front of him.

“Who knows about this?” I asked.

“Just you and me,” he said.

I sigh in relief. “No one should know about this – ever. If it gets out-”

Suddenly Evan’s phone was vibrating against the wooden table at the side of him as my phone was ringing from nowhere to be seen.

“Um, scratch what I just said. Everyone knows about last night and what happened between us,” he replied after he took his phone and his eyes scanning side to side read siding the text.

“You’ve got to be kidding me,” I said snatching the phone from his hand and reading it.

‘Everyone knows Jamie Jones as the goody-two-shoes girl but when it came to parties and boys, she immediately became a whore. Flirting with a guy and even my cousin while dating Kyle is so not right, but on top of that is losing her virginity to Evan. Watch out guys, we got a new slut in Budlong high.’

At the bottom of the text are the three pictures of Jake holding me, Ian dancing with me and Evan sleeping with me in the guest room bed.

I groaned shutting his phone and giving it back to him, “I hate you.”

“I hate you too,” he said smiling. “And don’t blame me for doing it with you, I didn’t want to but you insisted.”

                “I never asked for did.”

“Yeah you did. Before you blocked out you were looking at me and said those two words; rape, upstairs and that is a sign for wanting to have sex with me.”
