Boston put his hand on the doorknob.
"You hungry?" He asks.
"Um, I guess." I say
"Ha! You are going to want some food if you are going to take the test!"
"What? Why? What do they do?!"
"You don't know!? Haven't you heard the rumors!?" He says tauntingly.
"Well, no." I say, a little embarrassed.
"They make you run day and night, until you collapse and if you don't run, they torture you." He says sounding like he is telling a ghost story. That made me mad, he obviously thinks I am a weak girl. He is judging me by my gender and I hate that. I glare at him.
"I don't need your opinion on my physical abilities." I say getting worked up. "Bastard" I mutter quietly under my breath.
"Hey, now! I am serious! I know what you're thinking anyways."
"Oh, so now you read minds?! You creep! Why did you bring me here!? What do you want to tell me anyways!?" He just sat there looking at me with a smirk on his face. "Oh my god! Just sto-"
"Calm down! You just need to take a chill pill!" He looked a slightly overwhelmed. I looked at his face. Small scruff was growing on his chin. He looked at me very intently. "You know what, I'm sorry. I'm sure it was a little weird for me to force you into my car and take you home with me. I just, really need you to listen to me! I want to help you and show you why I did this!"
"But I don't understand!"
"America is a fake! You can't take the test because I know you will pass it! Just please-"
"I will hear you out just say what you want to say already!"
"Okay, so it all starts with where I am from. I was born in Oregon, with all my sisters, three of them actually. When my oldest sister turned fifteen a war started. See, my dad was worried. He loved me and the rest of my family a lot and so he decided that we should move to Australia. At the time I was only nine. We had a happy life there but there was no college that could suit my smarts, so I went Massachusetts and joined a college there. I studied there for a while and in the process I learned all about the current war we were in. They weren't the ones that told me America was a fake, I learned that on my own. I just thought that everything they were telling us was sort of fishy. I did some research and found that people in Europe were saying that America is lying and a bunch of bad things. I didn't believe this at first, but after more research and a quick trip to Africa I learned that these rumors were quite in fact true."
"What you just... no... ha! You're crazy! Africa has cut off all recourses to America and randomly attacked us!"
"That's what they tell ya, huh? Well it's wrong. America is the one who cut off recourses to Africa and started to attack them." I look at him. How did he come up with such a crazy thing? I have other things to worry about, I don't need to bother with this guy's insane theory.
"Wait, hold on. Why would it be so bad for me to pass the test?" I say.
He sighs, "Look," he says. "I don't want you to get hurt and it's just, a guys body is built differently. They can withstand more!"
"F*ck you! You are a total bastard! Just hear yourself! Women should have their damn rights back!" I scream. I hop up off the chair and grab my coat. "I'm done here, you insane idiot!" Why does he even care if I get hurt or not?
"Hey, no! Oh, come on! Please wait!" He calls after me. I know I'm being kind of rude, but so was he! I walked right out his door and down the front steps.
