The next morning was a blur. I only could remember a few key parts. It was now 3rd period and I was thinking back to every decision I had made that morning, and what would happen after school.

Hours before...

Waking up I couldn't get everything that happened yesterday out of my head. It didn't help that on the news this morning six families were attacked, in the past 24 hours. I was like a living zombie, letting my thoughts control my brain. And my emotionless face say everything.

Until I reached the bus stop. Because there at the bus stop were those three men and Jake. All talking quietly. Walking over I slowed my pace as I got closer and closer to them.

"Jacobs!" The one in the middle exclaimed. "We missed you yesterday, you seemed to have run off. Like a little fairy that saw Peter Pan! Where did you go to little guy?" He sneered the last part.

"First of all," stomping my foot down "I am know where near small. And I also ran to school, because unlike you Neanderthals I have class to attend. So that I can actually graduate attend NYU and get somewhere in life. Instead of being an FBI agent for the rest of my life!" I didn't truthfully mean the last part. But I was mad. Why were they even here? Couldn't they see I wasn't capable of doing anything they needed me to?

"Well little guy," the one of the left sneered at me. "Boss said we need you to accept this! You'd be a miracle. Please. We're just trying to help the community."

Standing there I contemplated my deepest and darkest insecurities about myself and the strengths I had.

"Yes," I finally said in barely a whisper. As if I was releasing a breath of air for the first time. "I'll accept this mission"

School couldn't have gone by any slower, it was finally the end of the day. Where I was told to meet the agents at their station, on the other side of town. Jake and I headed over entering the building and going straight for the agents office. We finally found the room and knocked. No answer. Assuming it was empty Jake opened the door. Not believing the sight before him.

There sitting on the desk was my mom, making out with that big man that insulted me yesterday. Clearing my throat loudly enough, they both jumped back startled. I couldn't believe it, just because my dad died 8 years ago meant she can make out with another man without talking to me first?! Oh heck no.

"What are you doing here, Jacobs?" The man asked in a angry tone. While my mom just stared ahead mouth wide open.

"I have a better question," I sneered. "What are you doing here with my mom?! What am I doing here?! We're here because you told your little minion agents to come meet us here, in their office. Because I accepted that offer to go onto this stupid mission!"

"You what?!" My mom all but yelled. "I can't believe you would do something like that to me. How could you even-"

"Don't you dare say anything like that to me. You were the one making out with this freak! How long have you guys been secretly dating?! Without you telling me! Where are those guys anyways so that I can just go and defeat this Jonathan guy?" I yelled.

As soon as I said this the three guys entered and looked at us shocked. I guess the position we were in looked a little suspicious. I was standing behind the chairs glaring at my mom and the man. And then Jake, oh yeah Jakes here!, he was leaning against the wall with an amused expression on his face.

"Well it seems that you have come a little earlier than expected," the one on the right said. "Okay! Well this is great! Let's start! So I know you, Sebastian, are excited to start this mission and just defeat JP. JP is our code name for Jonathan. Before we start I'm going to give a disclaimer, when you start you'll need to know not to trust anyone except for Jake. Do you understand? This man he has eyes everywhere."

"Okay. So tell me where this guy is so I can go beat him up, for hurting families in our town." I said ready, also just to get away from my 'mother'.

"Not so fast big boy! Or should I say small? Anyways you can't just go and attack this man using powers you have no control and/or idea on how to use! You'll be traveling around the U.S. meaning leaving New York for the first time. As you're going around you'll meet other supernatural figures and train with them. You'll be meeting with two people, for your two powers. Your first destination is Los Angeles, California. You'll be traveling by plane, your flight leaves in 2 hours. Go pack, you'll be gone for 5 days."

Ugh! I have midterms this week, but it's okay. Because we only have Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday b/c Friday is make up day.

IMPORTANT!
I was going to update this morning, but it was 43 degrees outside and I was freezing. Yes! That's cold for Florida!
BUT! I will update tomorrow morning, no matter how dreadfully tired I am tomorrow morning :(
