"Hello. This is Captain Martin, we're about 20 minutes away from Grand Canyon Airport. Thank you for flying Frontier Airlines."After taking a bus from the airport to the Grand Canyon South Rim we walked around looking at the amazing sight before us. The land was huge. And a group of people were walking on a tight rope from one end of the canyon to the other. They were holding some type of large poll. It looked scary.
"Okay, let's focus!" With that we looked around for a man. Assuming it was a man, we walked around people gazing.
After what seemed like hours, but in reality only being like 25 minutes a feminine voice called out "Jacobs! White!" We turned around to see a middle aged woman. She was a bit taller than me.
She walked over and stuck out a hand, "The names Amanda White boys! Learn it. Love it. Remember it. We'll be here for a while."
"Thanks for embarrassing me mom," Jake said. "Are you his trainer or is the actual one coming soon?"
"I am your trainer Bas," Amanda said. I looked over at Jake glaring. No one knew that name except for us, or so that's what I thought. Anyways I thought Jakes mom divorced his father before he was born. How do they seem so... close?
"Okay, Sebastian! Since we can't train here, we'll be taking a car back to my house." With that she led us over to a car, that took us to her estate.
The house was huge, and surrounded by guards everywhere. I wonder why?
Amanda led us over to an empty field. Where 10 men were sitting. "Okay Jacobs, since you seem to know how to use your last power pretty well, I want you to hypnotize Mark; and make him bow down to you! Mark raise your hand! 3..2..1.. GO!"
With that I stared at him, thinking how could I possibly hypnotize this man. Then I got this 'A-ha!' moment. That website I read while in the janitors closet talked about hypnotizing. It all bases off of what mood you're in. The color of your eyes will change with the mood.
Blue, the color of my eyes, stands for neutral. Like you're happy-ish. Purple means angry, and red means sad. I tried to get my emotion to change to mad so I could lift them. But to no avail, it didn't work. At all. Amanda looked at me expectantly, waiting for me to lift them.
I tried so hard, but I couldn't seem to hypnotize them. So I did what I could try, I used my first power and lifted them in the air before slamming them into the ground.
"Well," Amanda said, uncertainty in her voice. "You sure know how to lift them into the air, and use your first power. But this power is more important. It feels amazing to have absolute control over everyone."
I looked at her confused, she wasn't mad at me?
"Oh no," she laughed bitterly. "I'm mad, I just am trying to restrain myself from attacking you. In the past 100+ people I have trained, you're the first to fail on the first try. Know wonder your father left you, and not actually die." Tears started blurring my view of her, as I tried to restrain myself from crying hearing about what actually happened to my father.
"Mom," Jake said defensively. "Don't you think you're being a little to harsh? This is his first time learning about experiences revolving powers in his 18 years of existence. That was also a low blow bringing up his father." And with that he came over giving me a hug, because he knew I could become emotional easily.
After that I decided I couldn't take it anymore, so we left. And went to our hotel about 10 minutes away. After showering, I went to bed. Thinking. I was to deep in thought I didn't here the window break open and a figure come over to me.
"Well, well, well..." The man said sarcastically. "This mission will be so easy. John will just be laughing." Startled I jumped out of bed, ready to attack when suddenly arms went around me from behind and Jakes voice whispered in my ear "I'll get his minions, use your power to attack him. I know you can."
Glaring at the man, I stalked over to him. "What do you want?! And who are you?!"
"Woah! Calm down there little man, the names Adam Michaels. Second in command once Johnny Boy dies." The man sneered, snickering at me.
"What do you w-want from m-me?" I stuttered out nervously.
"To kill you, so that Johnny Boy has an easier life. Less stressful." With that he disappeared. Then suddenly I was lifted up and thrown into the wall. Before I could even get up I was lifted into the air and thrown onto the bed.
'Think,' I thought to myself. 'What do I do?'
I was angry at this man, why was he attacking me?! With that I got enough energy, and slowly my eyes turned purple.
Adam soon appeared above me and seemed frozen staring into my eyes. I didn't know what was happening until I realized he was hypnotized.
"Tell me what Johnny Boy's next plan is," I said slowly; while pushing him onto the ground. "Where is he as well? Why is he attacking Bushwick?"
"Jonathan is attacking Bushwick as a warning to the citizens. He's doing this so that they would be scared, and you'd show up. He'd attack you and then be the most powerful supernatural figure in New York. Because currently you are. His next plan is to attack people outside of Bushwick, like Manhattan. He's currently in his penthouse in NYC. I won't tell where it is, but I'll tell you this 'Where the building is high, Central Park seems small." He said automatically. With that I threw him out the window.
"You just defeated him," Jake said in awe, standing above 3 men. "Now where do we go? Because there is no way I'm staying here! We could go to, um.. Hollywood Florida like you said you wanted! It would be so cool-"
"Jake," I said tiredly "We need to go to New York. When I was attacking the man, Adam, he told me JP is in New York plotting a way to kill me. We need to get there ASAP."
With that we booked our flight back to New York, and we were off. To defeat Jonathan.
