A/N: I know where I want this section to go, but I am hoping that the words just start typing themselves. Also, once again, thank you to everyone who comments and even asks for updates! I really never thought that would happen.

POV: Sang

Holy crow! It is cold out here. Up until 6 months ago, I lived in Illinois, and winters get deadly cold up there. I have been teasing the boys because they complain about the cold weather, but today I am going to have to agree with them. I am glad that Mr. Blackbourne got me a new coat. It is so much nicer than anything that I ever had before. Even my "nice" winter coats were from the thrift store and looked a little worn when I got them. Either that, or I got one of Marie's hand-me-down ones that she didn't want any more. This coat is so soft. I think that it is made from some sort of wool and alpaca blend. It is a charcoal gray in color with a hood and toggle buttons. It also goes past my butt so my whole body stays nice and warm.

I feel bad for Dr. Mack, Katie; she has a short and fairly thin coat on. I guess she wasn't expecting this weather. Neither were we, for that matter. I hand Katie my gloves so at least her hands will stay warm and we hurry to the nearby Starbucks.

"Wow, is it always this cold in the winter?" Katie asks as we step into the comforting and welcoming warmth of the coffee shop.

"Actually, this is an anomaly for this area. Our average temperature for this time of year is 59 degrees for a high and 37.5 degrees for a low. We are about 8 degrees below the average low and it is expected to get colder over the next few days," Kota explains, in some depth.

"Well, it is summer holidays in Australia. I don't know what I was thinking coming to the northern hemisphere in the winter. I have dealt with colder when I was at Princeton, but I think I was acclimated to the cold then."

"That and you gradually work your way into the cold months. You aren't slammed into them like you are now," I point out.

"I never really thought of that, but you are right," Kota looks at me with curiosity. "Well, let's order. What would be your pleasure tonight sweetheart?" He puts his arm around my waist and gives a little squeeze as we get into line.

"I think I would like a hot chocolate with marshmallows if they have it." I give him a little smile. Hot chocolate with marshmallows is more or less "our drink". "If they don't have marshmallows, I would like whipped cream with the chocolate chips." I smile at Kota and laugh because I just notice that his glasses are still fogged up from the cold outside.

"And what are you in the mood to indulge, Dr. Mack?" Kota turns to her and asks.

"Oh, no. I will get my own. You guys are just kids. You can't have very much money. Plus, I actually should be paying since I invited you," Katie answers him with a smile, "And call me Katie."

"Katie, you are in my town, you entertained my girlfriend, and it is my pleasure. Please, what would you like?" He called me his girlfriend again! His GIRLFRIEND! I don't think my smile can get any bigger.

POV: Kota

"Well, since you put it that way, I would like a Cinnamon Dolce Latte, grande, please."

Sang is bouncing again. "Can I have a chocolate chip muffin? Please, Kota?"

"We have the Cannolis in the car. Are you sure you want the muffin? What would North say?"

Sang frowns for a moment. "I forgot about those. That would be a lot of sugar before bed." She looks a little disappointed. I am about to just get her one, because we can't have a sad 10 on our date, when Katie interrupts.
