AN:  Grad school classes are over for 3 whole weeks!!!!  School is out until August, so I have time to write!  I hope for a few more updates for you all this week with this story and Angel.  :-) Mission Trip next week so I won't be writing then.   :-(  Enjoy this update!

POV: Sang

To say that the next week of school went by in a blur would be an understatement to say the least. School was busy even though we weren't taking the same classes as before because of the fiasco that the "guidance counselor-who-didn't-really-guide-but-steamrolled" made of my schedule.  I'm basically officially involved with the mission anyway.  I still am learning Japanese with Victor and Dr. Green though.  Kota took over teaching my geometry lessons and we are nearly finished with the course. Silas found an online biology class that was college level and we were allowed to work at our own pace. What took the most time was reading the chapters, but it was much better than going to class.  Kota, Luke, Gabriel and I worked through all of the novels that we had to read and wrote essays on them using what the course of study says we should be working on.  Mrs. Johnson was actually very accommodating with this, although she didn't want Mr. Hendricks to know she was helping us.  She actually graded them and signed the papers.   North, Victor and I went through the whole textbook outlining the chapters and answering the questions, just like Mr. Morris would have assigned.  We also wrote one essay per unit and now we are done, so Victor and I are reading about Imperial Japan. We are all working on self-defense so that takes up the PE time slot.  The only hiccup is Violin Class. Since everyone is in Music Room B, I either have to have a lesson with all of them listening or not one at all.  It really is amazing how much you can get done in an 8 hour school day when you don't have to worry about the jerks who don't want to learn.

Every day, after school, Victor and I went to an apartment building where Corey lived.  He and Victor were working on an academy project.  The first day we went, Corey started out by showing me a little bit about hacking, but I got bored with it.  I took apart a cell phone that he had sitting there and replaced a chip that was damaged.  Since then, he and Victor have been giving me things to fix.  I only got stuck once and when Corey came over to help, he declared it irretrievable.  I feel pretty good about my time with them.

I did talk a bit to Kayli and asked her about what her brother liked to do.  She seemed unsure about what to tell me, but eventually told me that he was really smart and was talking a few dual enrollment classes at College of Charleston, but doesn't know which ones since she hasn't seen him in a few months.  I really do feel bad for her.  She seems to be very worried about him and unable to do anything about it.

I used this information along with my new "friend" the "guidance counselor-who-didn't-really-guide-but-steamrolled" to find out more about the program and look for Wil.  He was seen attending his one class that he has on campus twice this week, but deems to disappear after that.  I spotted him on a camera once, but we have not talked to him at all.  I should say that I have not talked to him at all, since he is my assignment.  I really don't think that the guys will let me out of their sights to talk him alone.  I think that I will get Kota or Victor to come with me to talk to him.  Kota is smart like Wil is and Wil has seen me with Victor before.  I guess the Wil Mission will need to wait for another week.

B-R-R-R-R-I-I-I-N-N-N-G-G-G.  The sound of the dismissal bell startles me out of my musings.  I packed up my stuff a little earlier, so I was ready to go.

"So, does everyone know what they are doing tonight?  Any questions?" Kota's emerald green eyes look at me and a full smile takes over his face.  He and Nathan are taking me to the Karate tournament for orientation to what I am going to be doing.  Nathan is helping set up the different arenas and make sure everything is ready for this weekend.  Kota will be helping out as well, but will be done before Nathan so he'll be taking me home to his house this evening.  The tournament is all weekend long, but I am just helping Lilly on Sunday.
