POV: Sang

It is still dark outside when Kota's alarm sings its tune for us to get up. The air in Kota's room is chilly and causes me to groan and snuggle down under the warm blankets so that I am laying practically on top of Kota. His chest rumbles with laughter as he gives me a tiny squeeze before jumping out of bed and pulling the blankets with him.

"Kota! It's cold out there!" I whine.

"Time to get up, Sweetie. You wanted to get washed up before heading out," he reminds me. Why did I want to do that again? Oh yeah, because we won't have very much time between the tournament and getting ready for Victor's concert.

I crawl out of bed and head to Kota's bathroom. I run a quick bath and wash off, shaving my legs and armpits. Kota knocks on the door just as I am about to wash my hair. "Can I help you wash your hair, Sang? I know that Gabe usually does it, but I want to try too."

"Sure, just give me a minute," I say as I find my panties and wrap a towel around myself. I open the door to a bare chested Kota with arms crossed leaning against the door frame. It is a sight that makes my heart beat double time.  I watch him visibly swallow seeing me in my towel and then step into the small bathroom.

Kota washes my hair with precision in an almost formulaic manner.  I love how he massages my scalp, but he doesn't have the same touch that Gabriel does.  I would never criticize him though.  Once he is done, he steps back out of the bathroom and I dry my hair with the old, brown hair dryer that is under the sink using the techniques that Gabriel has shown me.  My hair turns out soft looking and full.  I take several elastic bands just in case I want it out of my face and finish putting my jeans and cute new t-shirt on. I decide to layer a long sleeved black Underarmor shirt that I think is Luke'U.  By now it is 20 minutes before we have to leave.

When I leave the bathroom, Kota is coming up the stairs towel drying his hair.  He must have taken a shower in another bathroom. "I am so sorry that I took too long."

"You didn't take too long, I just didn't want you to have to wait for me to finish up.  Plus since I shaved last night, I just had to shower," he says with a smirk.

"Thank you for that by the way.  It made the evening very pleasurable," I wink at him as I put my socks and shoes on my feet.  "Do I need to bring anything for later?  I know that my dress and shoes are at Victor's house and Gabriel will be there to help me.  What do you think?"

"You may want to bring your Kindle or something to read and make sure your overnight bag is ready."  Kota pulls his out from the top of the closet and looks through it.  I get mine from near the closet and put extra sleep wear in it, although I know that Victor has more clothes for me at his house than Kota does.

"I'm ready," I say as I heft the bag on to my shoulder.  Kota takes my hand and we head down the stairs to the kitchen.  We pull out 2 breakfast sandwiches, wrap them in paper towels and place them in the microwave.  Then Kota makes himself a cup of coffee using the Keurig machine that he got his mom for Christmas.  I get one of my bottles of what Kota calls "Baby Coffee" from the fridge.  When the sandwiches are heated, we head to the car.

Looking around, I almost forgot that Kota now has a new car.  I really like the car. It is so clean inside that I worry about eating in it.  When I hesitate, Kota looks at me and smiles.  "If you make a mess, then we'll just go vacuum it out later.  Don't worry about it."  We exit the sub-division and pull on to the highway on our way the the Civic Center.  After finishing my sandwich and coffee, I pull out a pack of spearmint gum and offer a piece to Kota, which he takes with a small smile. We spend the rest of the ride talking about the assignment, school, the new book, A Brave New World, we decided to read together since we read all of the required books for English.
