That next morning, I woke praying everything was just a dream. I knew it wasn't when I sat up as saw I was still in last nights clothes as well as in our new flat.

I remembered Alex saying that our stuff would be here by this morning, so I stood up, and walked to the door, opening it to reveal a bunch of boxes. Half had my name on them, the other half had my mums name.

"Mum, our stuff is here!" I called as I tried to figure out a way to get it all inside without knocking anything over or taking too much time.

"That's great babe. Would you bring them in while I make breakfast?"

"Sure," I said as I began to grab the boxes with her name, carrying them to her room and sitting them down on the floor. After I finished her boxes, I started on mine, and I organized my boxes against the wall neatly in my room.

"Victoria! Prepare for school please!" My mum called from the kitchen. I did as asked and began to prepare for school.

I showered, washing my hair with the strawberry shampoo the flat had supplied. After I finished showering, I brushed my teeth and dried my hair and body.

I put on a yellow lacy dress with a small light brown belt around the waist area. I examined my white nails as I was putting on my dad's crown shaped ring. He gave it to me three days ago after paying for me to get my nails done. He must've know about the attack for a while.

I styled my hair before doing my make up and putting on my earrings and necklace. I grabbed my designer back pack out of one of the boxes after slipping on my black heels. Checking to see what was in it, I found my portable adapter charger.

I felt so relieved at the sight of it. Without it I wouldn't be able to contact Greyson because my phone would die.

I quickly plugged my phone into it, praying that it was charged before making sure everything look right and walking out of my room and to the kitchen to eat what my mum had made.

"There weren't many options for me to cook so I just made these grits and eggs." She said as she sat a plate in my hands.

I thanked her before I started eating.

"Don't take to long to eat. The bus will be here any moment." She said.

"Bus?" I asked.

"The school bus. Or would you rather take a taxi?" My mum looked at me.

"No. I'll catch the bus." I sighed before putting my unfinished plate on the counter. "I'm not very hungry."

I grabbed my school bag, key, phone, and headphones, before walking out of the flat. I'm not going straight to the bus stop. I'm going to walk to the chemist's shop to see if I can get something to put my key on.

When I got there I walked to the first person I saw. He was a boy that looked about to be my age. In his hand he held various types of creams and candy.

"Hi could you point me in the direction of the key chains?" I asked.

"They're over there by the stuffed animals now get out of my face," he said, never looking at me.

"You're rude, but thanks," I stated before turning and going to get one.

I settled for a light pink stretchy elastic one. "Hi, how much for this?" I asked the person at the counter.

"Just a dollar." She smiled.

It never occurred to me that Alex didn't give us American Dollars.

"Would you accept a euro?" I asked her.

"No, I don't think I can." She frowned.

"Well one euro is a dollar and nine cents in American money," I told her.

"Ma'am I cannot take your euro." She said, irritable. I sighed before turning.

"I got it," the boy I talked to earlier said. "Take it as an apology for my rudeness earlier." He smiled.

"Thank you," I smiled back as he payed for the key holder along with his stuff.

"I'm Josh," he said as we walked out the chemist's shop.

"I'm Victoria."

"I'm sorry about earlier. I don't particularly like it when people see me buying stuff for my grandma. It's embarrassing." He explained.

"It's fine. I don't like when people see me buying stuff for my mum either." I shrugged as we continued to walk. "Where are we going?" I asked him.

"To the bust stop. You do go to school right?" He chuckled.

"Oh," I blushed.

"You look familiar," he looked at me.

"How so?"

"I'm not sure. I guess it's nothing," he shrugged.

I couldn't believe I was walking and talking with a complete stranger, but that's how you make friends I guess.

"So, Victoria, you're new. Do you want me to show you around?"

"Sure. Why not," I said before getting on the bus right after him.

I sat down next to him since I didn't want to sit with anyone else.

"I'm sorry I'm being really clingy. I just have problems meeting new people sometimes." I apologized.

"No it's fine, I understand." He smiled before putting in his headphones.

I did the same, looking the opposite way and to the ground.

I'm actually scared for school. I'm not used to having friends, and I've never had real and true friends. This is my chance to make actual friends, and not just people who pretend to be my friend because of who I am.

I just don't know how to make friends. It's scary, but I'll find a way around it. I hope.
