Greyson called me shortly after I got in the house after school.
"Greyson, surly it must be late back at home."
"A tad bit, yes, but that's okay. I don't mind."
"You're a prince there, Greyson. You need your sleep. I'm a student here, teachers don't believe in sleep. It's all homework." I said. Am I rushing him off the phone? Or am I really busy?
I got my answer after he hung up and then I proceed to tell my mom I didn't have homework. Despite the large mountain, that was sure to topple in any second, of papers I have sitting on my desk.
I used to get so excited to talk to Greyson. Now I get tired of his voice seconds after answering his call.
At one point, Greyson had my full heart. Now I'm not sure if he has even half of it.
