Josh wouldn't give up until I let him walk with me. I'm kind of glad he didn't give up because I wouldn't know where to go.

He showed me around the city. Well as much of the city we could without being late for our next class.

It was nice to be able to see all of that with someone so nice.

"Thanks for helping me feel better," I said quietly as we walked back into the school.

"Anytime. I know how JC can be, and you don't deserve that." He smiled down at me.

"Why is she like that?" I let my curiosity get to me.

"She sees you as a threat. You're new. Fresh meat. You're pretty, she said you are smart, and you dress well. She knew that we met before school because I told her about you. I guess she doesn't want you coming and 'stealing' her best and only friend away," he shrugged.

"Oh.... Thank you," I told him, letting him lead me to my maths class.

"For what?" He chuckled.

"You said I'm pretty and that I dress well," I blushed. No ones ever said that to me besides Greyson.

"I did? Oh I didn't mean to, I mean, I meant to, but not aloud. I mean.... Um.... I.... Hey look we're at your algebra class," he stuttered, blushing furiously.

"I'll see you later I guess," I said as I laughed a little.

"Yeah," he whispered. He leaned down, and our faces were inches apart, but, oddly, I didn't want to move away.

The bell rang, though, preventing anything else from happening. That's when I remembered:
Greyson!

I shook my head slightly, smiling at Josh, before walking into the class.

What was that? I couldn't possibly, like Josh. I just haven't been kissed in a while is all. Besides, I love Greyson. I couldn't hurt him like that.
