WHAT WAS THAT FOR?!” Sirge yelled at the top of his lungs, the second the crying noise disappeared. He didn’t like her or anything she was annoying and said nothing but what he already knew. Sirge had dismounted and was standing face to face with the man; well you couldn’t call it face to face to man was too short for that. The man was three heads smaller than Sirge.

“Did you see what she did”

“Yes self-defence, magi style” he said calmly

“And she is a girl”

“And I think the rules are wrong”

“Magi should not use magic unless they have permission, a girl is not allowed permission and most of all they could have that girl’s head for doing magic outside of the magic dimension”

“And you are not outside the magic dimension” Sirge said bored, well at least tried to.

"I was just saying, I know you, you’re the grand h-”

“I’m not interested in titles”

“Too right too right” the man chuckled "names' Pete. Nice to meet you in the flesh Sirge."

"What did you want to see me for?" Sirge asked.

"Oh yes." Pete let out a breath "I just wanted to tell you Aluna is alive"

“I know that why else would I be here, but where can I find her?"

“Let me tell you a story first. Long ago when we are unborn but made, some are given the power of magic and some aren't.

"When the princess was born she had too much magic that her magic was held outside her body in the form of two gems. They are powerful gems which only let the person who owns them use them. Although I can’t tell you much more, she didn’t like telling people about them nor did see let people know about them.”

“What does this have to do with anything?”

“ah nothing just it’s the best way to track her."

“I don’t get it”

“well obvious she has lost her memories, so she is not going to just walk up to you and say hello my name is Aluna please crown me and help me save my kingdom is she or she would have by now it’s been eleven years has it not?”

“It has, so how am I to find Aluna?”

“I thought you were a smart, damsel in distress saving man who had half a brain!” Pete yelled angrily at him.

“Nah that’s the stuff they make up”

“Really?”

“NO! Can’t you take half a joke?”

“NO...Yes? We are getting off topic”

“I know we are and you are the one who took us off topic”

“Did I?”

“Yes

“Right well to return to topic the way you find Aluna is by find her magic sources”

“That’s impossible”

"Listen here. You need to find her. Someone is killing the magic lands and we need someone to find her and guess what we voted for you. So stopping mucking around and start finding her" he poked his big dirty finger on Sirge’s chest.

“Where do I start?”

"First find that girl" Pete said pointing to the way out.

“But why her?”

"Are you blind or did you not she the power she has? Repelling my dwarfen magic is quite a feat”

“Wait you’re a dwarf?” Sirge asked releasing that was very logical for his size.

“Yes what else do you think I am?”

“Short magi” Sirge mumbled under his breath

“Get a move on!” Pete waved Sirge up onto Snow.

“You still haven’t told me why her”

“Simple she used the same power of magic as Aluna could use”
