"You wanted me to meet you here?' Naomi asked as she pushed open the door to the darkroom as Logan awaited her. "Thank you for convincing the principal to let me join your class...I love it so far."

"I am glad to have you in it..."

"You are?"

"Of course. You have an eye for beauty and an eye for-"

"For what?" As he turned he found her undressed behind him. In only her underclothes, he could not tear his eyes from her. Nonetheless, his hand rested on her hip although he tried to desperately to fight his attraction.

"You could get me fired..."

"I have a feeling you like a little danger."

With the silence, she pulled him into a kiss and he continued it by lifting her onto the nearest table and wrapping her legs around him.

"Mr Castelle?" A voice called, tearing him from his daze.

"Sorry."

"Where'd ya go?"

"Thinking about the pictures I took. It's time to show what you've done." He slowly shook his head and moved from behind his desk as students came up one by one to show what meant something to them. By the time it was Naomi's turn, she had not been in her seat. Instead, she was absent-which is perhaps how he began his daze. Blushing at the thought, he told his class to take pictures of each other and print them for the bulletin board as he went in search for her. Beginning in the office, he ended outside the school to find no sign. That was until he heard the sniffling in the corner, on the opposite side of the large steps.

"Hello?" He asked as the girl emerged from her position and turned as she wiped the tears from below her eyes.

"Mr. Castelle..."

"Naomi? What's wrong?"

"Nothing."

"I doubt you would be crying if it was nothing..."

She suddenly placed her face in her hands as tears poured down her cheeks. Out of instinct, he pulled her close but watched to be sure nobody had been around. Releasing her as soon as she calmed, he motioned for her to sit on the stairs.

"Why aren't you in class?"

"I'm so sorry. I feel so bad because you tried so hard getting me into the class...and first assignment due and I'm not there..."

"I'm sure you have a reason...But why are you so upset?"

"It's stupid teenage stuff..I just wish I could be out of here...off to college or even just out of this town..."

"You just moved here, didn't you?"

She nodded. "I guess...away from my family..."

"Do you want to talk about it?"

She looked to him and slowly nodded. "Well I have to finish classes today but how about after school? Is that alright?"

She nodded. "Are you sure you don't mind dealing with my adolescent drama?"

"That's what I'm here for." He said with a smile as he moved to his feet and eagerly finished out the day and awaited her after class.

Five minutes late. Ten minutes late. Half an hour late. An hour late and no response on the intercom from her. Growing frustrated and anxious, he made his way to the front and rear of the school to find her being groped against the wall by a stoner-loner. He closed his eyes and walked towards his classroom before shaking his head.

"What is wrong with you? Get a hold of yourself!!!" He said to himself as he wrote her a note in case she were to show telling her he had a meeting to attend and would be available before class if she still needed to talk. Signing it with his first name, he set it on her desk before moving to leave and heading home for the night...Unable to understand why she meant so much to him.
