All through the night, Logan tried to keep his mind from thinking of Naomi. He thought of his job, his life, his future-but it always brought him to her. Growing frustrated as he felt he was obsessing, he decided to pour a drink-or three as he rested on the couch and had his phone in his hand. As if it was known, it began to ring.

"Hey...It's Liam."

"It's been a while. What's up?"

"You know the fraternity party held every year? Well it's tonight and there's this girl I wanna see and she's with her friend who just got dumped and-I really like this girl."

"Fine. I'll be there...How about....ten minutes?"

"Thanks dude. I owe you." He hung up before Logan could comment. He moved to his closet and switched out of his work clothes and into his "chill" clothes before snatching his keys and going to his car. Slightly tipsy, he drove to the fraternity house and waited to see Liam's car which arrived a few minutes after his. Upon seeing him, Liam gave him a bro-hug before they moved into the fraternity house.

"So her name is Holly. She's a third year law student and she's drop dead-" Suddenly his gaze met her. "That's her."

"She's cute..." Logan admitted before seeing the friend behind her. Timid as can be, she hid behind her friend before everyone was introduced. Not wasting any time, Liam ditched Logan and the other girl whose name he learned was Bridget. Although pretty and slender, he could not find her as the perfect distraction. Instead, he could see how she had been heartbroken. Remnants of ruined mascara sat on her cheeks as she often talked about her ex boyfriend and how much they had planned together. Not wanting to get more depressed then he already was, he excused himself to get a drink.

"Sorry." A sweet voice he recognized said as he accidentally bumped into someone. Moving his gaze to her, he saw how it had been Naomi. With a plastic red cup in her hand, she hid it behind her back before giving him a "please don't say anything smile".

"What are you doing here?" He asked her as she gave him a nervous smile.

"My friend told me of the party and I needed to get out." She paused as he nodded. "Are you gonna tell anyone? About the alcohol?"

"You're smart enough to know what you should and shouldn't do. It only hurts you..." He said as he snatched a cup from the table and filled it with beer before moving back towards Bridget. But upon returning, he found she found a distraction in one of the frat guys. He just leaned against the wall then and kept finding her to come into his gaze. Trying to avoid her as her moves made him feel incredibly overwhelmed, he moved about the party-eventually moving up the stairs and to one of the more quiet rooms.

He laid down on the bed before hearing the voice of one of the frat guys outside. "Don't worry princess, I'll take good care of you." A mumbling was heard as Logan rolled his eyes.

"Another insecure girl with daddy issues letting a tool take advantage of her..." He said to himself as he stood up. "Why am I even here?" With that, he took a deep breath and exited the door before looking to his side to find the guy holding the girl up. The girl he recognized to be Naomi. Knowing she had not drank that much-especially that fast, he became concerned.

"Is everything okay?" He asked the frat guy who gave him the "I'm getting lucky" smirk. "Is she okay?" He specified as the guy looked to Naomi. Brushing her hair from her face.

"She will be in about ten minutes."

Opening his door, he moved inside and threw her on the bed as she tried to say "no". This was heard by Logan as he pushed his way into the room just before the door closed.

"Get off of her-"

"Dude....come on..."

"She isn't conscious! Get off!"

"Are you her boyfriend or something?"

"I'm her friend-get off!" He yanked him from her, sending her to smile upon seeing him.

"What's your problem."

"You drugging her-"

"I didn't."

Logan pointed to a pile of sleep aid pills beside his bed that had been opened next to alcohol. "Next time be smart enough to at least hide the evidence."

With that, he picked her up in his arms and took her from the party, leading her to his car and driving her away from the scene.
