A Normal Life?

Amari was showing off, again. Kyra was proud of her little sister but she could be so annoying sometimes. I mean c'mon, fire and earth? Just do one at a time like normal people do!

"But this is as normal as life can get around here." She thought.

"Amari! It's time for dinner!" Kyra called to her eleven years old sister, again. Amari just glared at her. She loved Kyra, but did she have to ruin her fun all the time?

"Fine I'm coming." She called but under her breath she added, "Comander Grumpypants." That comment made the other children giggle." See you guys later!" She called over her shoulder as she ran inside their little hut.

"Bye Amari!" The others called walking out of the yard.

Neither of the two sisters saw a dark figure sitting in the evening shadows on top of a roof watching the whole thing. He saw a little girl fire bend and earth bend at the same time. That was enough proof for him.

Taking out a walkie-talkie he spoke into the other end. "Sir I found her."

"Her? It is a girl this time? Well I guess that doesn't matter." He chuckled lightly. "Were are you Tarrlok?"

"Lower Rings in Ba Sing Sae east side." The mysterious man answered.

"Alright the White Lotus is on the way. Keep an eye on her. How old do you think she is?" The man on the other line asked.

"Really little. No older than twelve. But she is strong sir. She just bested three boys twice her age."

"Well, that is impressive for such a little one. Let's hope Amon doesn't get to her before we do. Thank you Tarrlok."

"Yes sir." He answered as he hung up. Tarrlok lay on the roof of the building starring at the sunset thinking of how to train that little girl. "She probably has no idea who she really is...." He thought as he drifted off to sleep.

Amon sat in a lounge chair completely realaxed........until someone comes through the door.

"Sir! We have received news. The avatar has been found."

Smiling behind his mask, Amon smiled. "Excellent. Where is he?"

"Not he my lord, she. She is located in Ba Sing Sae at the moment but the White Lotus has located her as well and is traveling as we speak." The scout said nervously.

"Gather the Chi-Blockers. We move now!" Amon ordered. The scout bowed and left to do as his master bade. Amon smiled aging. For the first time in years things were finally going as planed.
