Mako's P.O.V.:
The last thing that I remember was Korra bursting out of the holding cell blasting fire and knocking people all over the place. Then Toph almost had her exept she didn't count on the fiesty girl being able to bend lightning. "And neither did I."
Lightning bending was increbly hard and advanced for any bender, even me. Not many people even attempted to try it, let alone mastter it. It was amazing that a kid could do it so well, even if she was the Avatar.
I sat up from where I lay sprawled on the metal floor and saw the others in on the ground as well, exept unlike me, they were unconcious. I crawl over to where Tarrlok lay and I check his pulse. Normal, they all were. I shake Zuko's shoulder and all I get is him throwing him hand in my face and saying some nonsense about Saturday and cookies. I ignore him and shake Toph next. She doesn't even flinch.
I look around and Korra is gone and I have a pretty good idea of where she went. I stand up and run down corridors of the airship until he came to the airlock. Surprise, surprise - a Sato Plane was missing.
My first thought was worry. Korra was just a kid, there was just no way she could fly a Sato Plane on her first time out. And a kid who I bet , didn't have the slightest of schooling.
Then I change my mind. Korra did not seem like the kind of girl who gives up when she messes up. She seemed pretty smart too, but not so much maturity wise. If the kid wanted to fly a plane, she probably could but still. Flying a plane on your first try, not knowing anything about it? Not the smartest thing to do. But then again, Korra didn't seem like the kind of girl who would stop and think before acting either.
I calculated that a person has about three minuets to figure out how to launch a plane, then you have about forty seconds to figure out how to fly it. Then you crash.
I shudder, push that thought out of my mind, grab my flight goggles and jump into another plane in the airlock. I start the motor but a light flashes on instead. Apparently the plane was out of gas. That was strange. All the planes ont the airship were always fueled and ready to go in case of a surprisse attack.
I jump out of the cockpit and run across the deck to another plane and climb in. The light flashes again saying the plane was out of gas. Something was just not right. I climb out of the plane and walk around to the front by the propellers. Opening the engine compartment, I lean over the black parts and I found the problem.
How long had I been out? The little sneak put a hole in the fuel tank! Mabey she had enough schooling to figure out where the tank was, or mabey a lucky guess. By then, I really didn't care. I just had to find her.
Quickly, I check all of the other six planes and lo and behold, all their gas tanks were sabotaged. I gritted my teeth in frusstration. Korra obviously did not want anyone to follow her. Besides the Sato planes, there was no other way off the Justice esides landing the whole four tons of it. Based on the thick spirit forests around us, I figured that wasn't gonna happen.
I threw a screwdriver at a toolbox across the room and miss. Instead, I hit an oil lamp. It fell over and the wicked caught fire withe some sandpaper lying nearby. As I ran to put out the flames, an idea came to mind. A totally crazy, reckless, and stupid idea, but all the same it was an idea.
