Hailey's Letters...epilogue

---So, I thought I'd give this book one last chapter before saying goodbye. Here's what life is without Hailey Marie James---

--One year later--Ashton's POV--

"Miami we're here!!" I sighed smiling as we walked off our private plane. Luke, Cal, and Mikey were right behind me as we followed our body guards to the SUV. Ari, Zeno, Lexi, and Em got here yesterday since they left early.

"It's nice to be back here, I've missed Miami a lot." Luke said. I should fill you in on one thing, Lexi and Luke started dating about six months ago.

"Me to!" Michael cheered.

"I can't wait to get to Emily's, I'm tired." Calum laughed. We all piled into the SUV and drove off the meet the girls.

--Lexi's POV--

"Hey mom!" I answered the phone, hesitantly.

"Alexis Tyler-Ann! Where have you been?" She screamed at me through the phone.

"School mom, I've been at school." I rolled my eyes.

"Why are people telling me you're back in Miami then? Are you here?"

"We had a break mom! Yes I'm here, I just got back yesterday! I know you're pissed at me for what I said to you before I left but that was almost a year ago!" I defended myself, extremely annoyed though.

"I don't care you still have the right to call your own mother. And what happened last year never should have!!"

"I was grieving mom! My best friend died and you wouldn't shut the hell up about my future and grades! I did what I had to." Long story short. My mom and I were in a really bad argument, and she snapped at me so I hit her and left the house.

"Well call Hailey's mom. Goodbye Lexi." She sighed and hung up. I hope everything is okay with Ms. James.

"Is everything alright?" Zeno asked and walked around the corner to the kitchen.

"Yeah, my mom is just being her bitchy self." I sighed putting my phone on the island table.

"Yea my mom was like that before." Zeno laughed.

"Guys the boys are here!" Ariana yelled and I heard the front door open.

"LUKE!" I screamed and ran to the front.

"Hi Lexi!" He laughed as I hugged him. "Miss me that much I take it?"

"No I just felt like doing that." I laughed and pecked his cheek.

"Well then, help me with the stuff." We walked to the car and grabbed all the suitcases, taking them to each of our rooms. Michael and Ari's room was next to Emily's. Cal and Zeno's was across from Em's. Mine and Luke's was next to theirs, and Ashton got the master bedroom at the end of the hall.

"Everything is everyone's room, what should we do?" Emily asked as we gathered in the living room.

"You guys figure it out, I have to call Hailey's mom." I said and pulled out my phone.

"Is everything okay?" Ashton spoke up.

"I think so, my mom told me to call." I walked up to my room and called her.

"Hello?" She answered after the third ring.

"Hi! Ms. James? It's Lexi," I smiled while talking.

"Oh Lexi dear! How have you been? Is that blonde boy treating you right?" She chuckled on the other line, she sounded hurt, or tired?

"Haha I've been good. How are you? and Luke, he's amazing no need to worry."

"That's great, I'm good thanks for asking."
