Ch.8

Hi guys! Sorry for not updating in awhile. I feel bad. But um I kinda got stuck at the date part.

Black Nirvana shirt, high wasted white-washed shorts and my black converse. This was the outfit I decided to wear when I went to Ashton's. It was around 4 when I finished. 'Okay last thing..my jacket'. I grabbed it and walked out the door. It was about a 15 minute drive to Ashton's so I decided to stop and get coffee on the way there.

--Ashton's POV--
"Hey Mikey? How does this look?" I was wearing my Green Day t-shirt, black skinny jeans, and black Vans.

"You look fine mate! Don't worry about it. You'll be fine."

"You sure? I have never been so nervous in my life. I'm usually calm about these things but this time it's different." I said sitting down on the couch. "Where's Calum and Luke? It's quiet."

"They went to get something. They should be back any minute now." Michael said getting up and walking away.

"ASHTON LOOK WHAT WE GOT FOR YOU TO GIVE TO HAILEY!!!!" Luke burst through the door screaming.

"Hey quiet down. No need to be screaming." I laughed. "But anyways what did you get?"

"Well you see we couldn't decide whether we should of got the stuffed bear or flowers. So we got both and you're going to give them both to her." Calum said while pulling out a bright pink bear and red roses.

"Um guys.....we aren't going on a date. We are just hanging out. She has a boyfriend remember."

"C'mon Ash she'll love it. Trust me I know this kind of stuff." Michael says walking back into the room.

"No, I'll give her the flowers but not the bear it's all to much." I took the flowers and looked at my watch. It was about 4:20. She should be here soon.

"Alright well good luck then. We're only trying to help." Luke said walking away.

--Hailey's POV--
I was almost to Ashton's house. I could tell I was getting nervous. My hands were getting sweaty and my stomach had butterflies. I kept looking in the side mirror to make sure I looked okay. I found Ashton's address and pulled into the driveway. Oh Lord. I'm terrified.

--Ashton's POV--
"No-"

"Stop ju-"

"Let go-" I ripped the bear out of Calum's hands. "You can't give her that bear. It's embarrassing. Michael? Can I trust you to keep the bear away from him until we leave?"

"Yea, I won't let him have it."

"Okay. Thank you."

*ding dong ding*

"SHES HERE ASHTON SHES HERE." Calum starts screaming.

"Shut up will you? She can hear you Calum!!!!!" I kinda laughed. He was so excited. Even though I'm the one actually going with her.

-Hailey's POV--
I stood at the door and I could hear a lot of laughing and arguing. I decided to ring the doorbell.
*ding dong ding*

"She's here Ashton she's here." Is all I heard and then it got quiet. I couldn't help but laugh a bit. And then the door opened and I was greeted by Michael.

"Hello! I'm Michael. Come on in. Ashton is in the bathroom, he'll be out in a minute."

"Um, okay thank you." I walked in and looked around the house. It was really big.

"Hi! You must be Hailey. I'm Calum."

"Hi, I know who you are. I'm actually a really big fan."

"That's great!! Oh and me and Mike got you this. We thought you would like it." They handed me a bright neon pink teddy bear. It was so cute.

"Aww it's so cute!! I love it. Thanks guys." I said holding the bear in my arms. "You didn't have to get-"

"Uh hi Hailey." I turned to see Ashton standing with a bushel of roses in his hands.

--Ashton's POV--
I looked in the mirror to make sure I looked fine and I fixed my shirt. I grabbed the roses and walked out to see Hailey standing there with the boys laughing. I decided to speak up.

"Uh hi Hailey."

"Hi Ashton."

"These are for you." I walked up to her and handed her the flowers.

"Aw thank you! They are so pretty. You guys didn't have to buy me anything."

"You're welcome. Are you ready to go?"

"Oh, yea. Where are we going exactly?" She questioned. Ummmmmm I haven't figured that out yet.

"It's a surprise actually!!" I said and started waking out the door.
