-Echo-
"Drive" her voice was calm as she refuses to glance back at homeland. She was mentally exhausted. An older man who she instantly recognized as her boss grins to her while taking a slow drag of his cigar.
"Moody aren't we?" He chuckles softly trying to lighten the mood. Her scowl worsened not in the mood for his mocking humor. "I bet you're wondering how I knew you were here" his smirk was clear even in the dark. Echo wasn't surprised he found her, after all this is what he was paid to do. Find people.
"What do you want?" She held back a snarl. Barely. She was not in the mood for him, he was pushing her last nerve, and he damn well knew it.
"Oh come now, don't be like that. It's been far too long since we last saw each other" he coo's, ironically enough he was almost a fatherly figure to her. He gave her food, shelter, and the clothes on her back not to mention he taught her how to defend herself. She wouldn't say it out loud but she felt as if she owed him. He continued to pay her during her leave even though she had a bank account filled with cash, either way she continued to work as a waitress. It relieved stress to be moving around and gave her a cover up. Echo refused to spend the money in the bank either, on occasions they would dip into it for living purposes but that was it.
"You have a job for me correct?" She turns slightly to him, her colorful hair falls into her face  giving her a more menacing appearance.
"As sharp as ever" his smile quickly slips to a frown waiting for her to continue.
"I need you to do something for me first" his expression changes to interest as he runs his hand over his balding slicked back grey hair.
-homeland-
Days have passed with no clear sign of Echo anywhere, it was almost as if she fell of the face of the earth. It aggravated fury, after all justice had asked him to find the female. Fury didn't care much for the female, he thought of her as selfish for leaving her young with them but it was a personal favor from justice so he couldn't refuse. He realized a few days after the females leave that Jericho seemed to have a thing for her, he would take care of suzuko as if she were his own, he often was caught smelling her for any sign of echo. They both visited him around noon for any news on the missing female, when fury had to break the news that they haven't found anything yet the heartbroken looks on their faces were not something easily stomached. That just gave him another reason to hate the girl.
It was hours before noon when he got a letter, it was surprising. The last thing he expected was a box from the missing female.
He opened it carefully not wanting to tarnish anything in the sealed box. First there was a letter labeled 'JUSTICE'.
'Justice,
The money to pay for suzuko and hydra is in the bank account, you know which one. I will not be missing for too long, and it will benefit the new species. That is a promise.
-Echo'
Along with that letter there was one labeled 'SUZUKO' and a laptop. He sets the letters on his desk before grabbing the phone and quickly dialing justice praying he wasn't in a meeting. He had no clue how she got the mail straight to him but he was determined to find out.
