They walk up a set of spiraling stairs down the left hallway of the entrance. The stairs lead up to a glass railing around the hand-to-hand combat area, a place to overlook it. Aileen continues past the railing, to the three banners marking a wall. "Beyond the overlook, there are the separate sleeping quarters: the Bravery, the banner with the sword and gun, the Observing, the geared eye, and the Manipulators, the thorny branch around an arm. Those are your banners, and upon entry of the branch door, there is a sitting room and then two hallways, leading to the males and the females dorms. Today is a free day, to explore and chat. Once the bell chimes, it is time to eat. Everyone will receive a schedule tonight at dinner. Now, we all have work to do, so take care!" Aileen happily waves, hurrying off.
Everyone splits to their branch's quarters. Whiplash stands before the red door, the door for Manipulators. The Observing have a green door, the Bravery a blue. Luna crosses over to the door, putting her wrist under a scanner. The door opened, allowing all seven of the trainee Manipulators to enter. They all introduce themselves.
Furor was the boy with neon blue hair. He had vibrant blue eyes, and demonstrated his power: to control snow and ice. He held out his hand and let out an icy breath, coating his hand in ice crystals. He smiles, revealing pure white teeth.
Surge was a broad-shouldered boy who had ginger hair in a ponytail. As a joke, he placed a hand on Furor's neck, demonstrating his power as a sizzle sounded, and Furor jumped in response. Surge held out a hand, and it began to redden. He raised a fingertip, and a small flame danced atop his finger. He quickly extinguished it.
Tempest was the small girl whom had asked about her family on the train. She had wavy beach blonde hair falling to her lower back, and bangs just covering her eyebrows. She had soft blue-gray eyes, and was overall a gentle person despite her name. She closed her eyes, raising her head skyward, as she folds her palms across her bust, and levitates off of the ground. In midair, she snaps her arms out to her sides, palms upward. Water begins to drip from thin air. "Er... It's much more powerful with a source..." Tempest murmured softly.
There was a girl who could move inanimate objects with her mind, Angel, who had straight black hair falling to her lower back, and red eyes. Red eyes was a normal occurrence. Nothing more than a mutation in genetics, which became more common over time. She had defined cheekbones, and a thin face, almost always frowning and quiet. With the flick of her wrist, she had made the lights flicker. With the snap of her arm, she sent papers on a desk flying, everyone startled by her sudden move. Angel drifted to a couch and sat down.
The last one, a girl with a boyish body, was named Celeste. She had tan skin, with freckles and long dark green hair and eyes. She had the power to speak to the earth, and command plants and animals to do her bidding. She'd never used her power for evil, despite how powerful it was. She searched for a plant, and it was as if they had known she was coming. A small sapling sat in a pot at a windowsill. She eagerly bounded to it, almost knocking over Tempest. She studied the plant, and to Whiplash's surprise, the plant began to move rapidly in the pot.
They all turned to him, expecting him to demonstrate. Whiplash frowned. "Uh... Well..."
"He doesn't know his power." Luna frowns, folding her arms across her bust.
"Really?" Furor widens his eyes.
"Sucks to be you." Surge shrugs.
Angel angrily elbows him.
Tempest softly apologized along with Celeste.
"You'll find out sometime." Tempest murmurs, softly smiling.
Whiplash nods. "I hope so."
