:Ellie's POV:

I woke up on a big rock, in the middle of the forest? Looking around, I saw that I was alone. "H- hello?" I asked my voice quivering. no response. A few moments after, I sensed movement from behind me. Finding enough courage to turn around, I finally did. What was behind me was really surprising to a small 8 year old like me. Directly behind me was a big, black wolf with bright glowing purple eyes. He was at least 2 times bigger than me. Too scared to even move, my body took over and all I saw was darkness.

:Momiji's POV:

I was off hunting in the forest. I couldn't help but feel protective about Ellie. I wonder if she woke up yet? I have no- idea how long children like her sleep, and I was hungry. I just hope she wakes up when I'm there.

Just then my silver wolf ears twitched to the direction of the place I left Ellie and heard what sounded like a body falling to the forest floor. 'Oh no.' I thought as I dropped everything and began running to where the mouse child lies.

By the time I got there I saw something I didn't think I would ever see. There was Ellie on Wrath's back. Her eyes were closed. I cursed under my breath as I began examining her. She was still breathing, which was good. 'Okay, stay calm.' I told myself. 'She'll be alright.'

***Few Hours Later***

I was almost tempted to go hunting again. I was starving now, and I'm sure Wrath is too. When Ellie wakes up, she's bound to be just as hungry. But I wasn't going to risk it, so I settled on some crackers I packed from the mouse village.

I looked up from my crackers to hear mumbling. Ellie. She was awake. A genuine smile formed on my face as I turned around. Ellie sat there, rubbing her eyes.

She then looked over to me, and widened her eyes. "A- are y- you the o-one who b- brought me h-here?" she asked with fear in her voice.

"Yeah" I replied hoping she would understand.

"Thanks." she said in a small voice.

"Sooo... Cracker?" I asked, holding out one of the crackers.

"Sure, friend." She said taking the cracker from me with a smile.
