My Fear Poem

Keeping herself closed in
It's hard to open again
Lost too many to their own battles
Thinking that they don't matter

She screams at God, begging for help
She can't do this all by herself
Without them, she feels alone
Why is this the way she's grown?

Can you hear her?
Can you hear her?
Crying throughout the night
Losing people has always been her plight

Caring too much
Trusting too much
Those are her main weakness
She still keeps her secrets

Isolated and mentally abused
It's easy for her to be confused
Between lust and love
God, send somebody from above!

"Help me! Help me!"
She cries out in fright
"Help me! Help me!"
She cries into the night.
