Chapter 4: The past of the neko

He raises his voice and the girls stop fighting and look at him "I'm disappointed in you girls all three of you...fighting while I am gone. Now clean up this mess and I will think on how to punish you three," Putting the items away he goes to him room avoiding the messes they made then lays down on his bed closing his eyes. The smell of smoke filled his nose and he gets up quickly and runs toward the kitchen and finds Silhouette cooking. He stops her and clears the smoke and fire then looks at her. "What were you thinking you could have burned the house down!?" speaking in a hurt but soft tone she replies "Sorry I was thinking of making you food saying I am sorry, and Hazel and Alice are out throwing the trash away.." her voice trails off. Sighing James pets her head gently wiping her tears away "come with me Lets go get more food to replace the ones you wasted and next time I do the cooking. And maybe i could teach you how to cook so you don't burn the house down." nodding happily she runs and grabs her shoes and jacket putting them on then stands by the door waiting for him. They leave together leaving a note for Hazel and Alice and the back door unlocked for them, setting off for the store Silhouette behind James smiles and reaches to hold his hand but stops herself. After they get to the store and come back towards the home Silhouette learns more about James and how he grew up with no mom and dad or any siblings and the scar on his back which he hide from Hazel and Alice. After hearing about how a man who clammed he was his father cut his back with a blood stone sword. She though about her past life and decided to tell James after Hazel and Alice goes to bed. She waits and when they did she turns to him "Hey James?" "yea?" "umm...I am not human..." "That so?" nodding she waits for her alarm of when she needs to take the pills to ring and a soft glows comes off her and her human ears disappear and are replaces with cat ears and a tail comes out, her teeth gets a little sharper. "Y-your a neko?" "Ya I am James and also a monster hunter so I am going to tell you about my past in return I want the succubus." "What? no!" sighing she tells him anyways about her brother,mother,father, and the man who raised her and trained her the things she knows now. "Silhouette did you know the man who kill your brother?" "No but some people says a man with his description was seen coming here." "Oh so that is why you are here." she nods "Now lets get to bed." she says purring and moving her tail happily. James gets up and walks to his room after turning off the t.v and picks up Silhouette and puts her on his back; he lays her on her side of the bed and goes to the door and closes it then locks it. Taking off his shirt he climes into bed next to Silhouette and closes his eyes, kissing his cheek softly Silhouette says "Thank you James for helping me." smiling he falls into a deep sleep with her cuddling up to him. The nocturnal monster roar, squawk, or what ever noise they made it had James feeling safe that they would never turn on him because he was going to take the job as king the next day
