Chapter 13: Lost in time

The punch staggers her a little bit but Arachnid manages to not fall but before she can react another punch lands in her stomach and a kick to the back of the neck. Silhouette was too fast for Arachnid to fight back but every time her hand touches the ground she places a web trap. It was not long before Silhouette finds her self trapped in one, her legs were stuck and her back against a wall. Webs shot from Arachnid's mouth and pins Silhouette's hands to the wall, she struggles but is trapped. She looks over at James and his body returned to normal, his skin turns to his regular light brown, mussels started to fill up the empty and scrawny areas of his body, the shirt on him now rips because now it's too small. The scares on his body seems to stay but Silhouette blushed finding them attractive on him, Arachnid came close to silhouette who was lost in her mind staring at James and biting her lip now wanting to kiss him again on his soft looking lips. Arachnid opens her mouth as his eye's flash open seeing Arachnid about to bite Silhouette, It seem like time froze for James but his body moved before he could think and instead of Silhouette being bitten it was James. A burning feeling went through his body but he remained still only biting her back on the neck sinking his fangs in draining her blood out of her body. A shriveled body falls and James cuts Silhouette out after he wipes his mouth. "Hey Sil, I'm so-" She cuts him off with a hug followed by a kiss on the lips. His eye's widen then slowly close shut only to put his hands on her lower back pulling her close, and kisses back. They stayed like that for a few moments with their bodies pressed together. Silhouette pulls away panting a bit staring into his eyes and admires the small cut on his lips "You have no reason to be sorry James." He goes to protest but instead just kisses her again quickly. Hazel and Alice walk up seeing the two and they smile seeing James in good health. They both rush up and hug him, the weight of all three makes James fall to the ground with them on him. He does a small laugh "It's good to see you all too, I'v missed you guys." A few days go by and in the mirror James sees something on his right fore arm, it was a black widow tattoo. Confused on how he got it James shakes off the though on what it might be, he walks out and puts on a long sleeve to hid it then heads down stairs. He goes into the kitchen and cooks breakfast for the girls and he feels arms wrap around him and kisses his shoulder, he turns his head seeing silhouette behind him smiling and wearing one of his shirts that was big on her. "Hey handsome." silhouette says kissing his cheek "Morning beautiful." He goes finishes up and sets down 3 plates and fills them with eggs, bacon, and  biscuits with gravy on them. Kissing silhouette's cheek he goes to the white door with flowers painted on then walks in. He turns on the light and shakes Alice, she turns to him and smiles "Morning James, How are you?" "I'm doing fine, now get dressed and breakfast is ready." She nods and sits up as he leaves closing the door behind him. Next is Hazel's room on her orange door is a heart on it, James walks it to wake Hazel but sees her getting up "Breakfast is ready." She turns to him and nods staying quiet letting him close the door. She sighs and gets up and undresses walking to her bathroom, "Why her James....Can't you see how I feel?" James sets a plate for him and eats with everyone and after they finish Hazel shows up dressed in sweats and a black to,  her hair in a french braid over her left shoulder. James falls to the floor and under his sleeve the spider glows and pulsates, he curls up groaning in pain and they run to him. "James!"
