Chapter 11: The Widow's Bite

They entered the temple walking around looking a various objects "James, no one has been here in years the only thing that is new besides more dust is...webs, and a lot of them too." James looks up and sees  huge figure move across the webs then disappears. James shakes his head is disbelief then moves on looking and inspecting different objects "This stuff is ancient Rochelle who would want to be in here. There was no reply, he looks around for her "Did i wounder off to far? ROCHELLE!" when he calls out again there was no reply but a thud was heard. He ran in the direction when he came across Rochelle limp on the floor, He puts her head on his lap and taps her cheek. Her vitals were normal but she was unconscious. "Who did this to you?" he says to himself looking around then he spots something move in the corner of his eye. A large figure comes closer then the image gets more clear. It was a woman, if you can say that. Her upper body was that of a woman her lower was a spider, she had six legs a red hour glass on her "Under belly", she had 8 eyes but 6 were covers with longish hair.  "Hello James," It said sweet and gently in hopes to calm him, "I am Arachnid." He tilts his head on confusion Arachnid spoke again "I am the first spider, I was cursed by Athena for winning a weaving contest then bragging about it to her so I am cursed to weave for all eternity." He looks down at Rachelle "Did you do this to her?" Arachnid seemed nervous and did not reply, with a low growl he said it again "Did you do this to her?" Again there was no reply, he looked at her with burning eyes, the growl much louder that it echoed "Did you do this to her?!" She backs up a bit and nods "She was, well you both are in me territory" She moves around him curlicuing inspecting him from head to toe "You do match the description but they never said that you would look this good, shame we have someone who is also in to you." "You have silhouette?! Where is she?!" "Wow, east boy just calm down. We have her and she is safe. I can take you to her if you wish to see her." He stands up and nods, Arachnid smiles as her plan was slowly coming together.  She lead him down a dark corridor into a poor lit room due to there only be 2 candles is the large room, the room was in a dome shape the ceiling looked like it can open, the walls were peeling relieving the stained wood behind it. there were shackles that looked red but James thought his eye were playing on him, he shook the idea of it being blood stone out of his head. "James!" he heard Silhouette's voice behind him and he turns to her forgetting about another person in the room, he went to her but after a certain amount of distance we could not move, the feeling of being weak fell upon him. "It was a trap James, she had this planned out to kill you." Arachnid lit more candles and the room grew brighter. James was in blood stone shackles and Silhouette was in the door way, Arachnid laughed moving in front of him "Like catching a fly in a spider's web. This was too easy, James VanHellsing, Underworld king trapped by rescuing his girlfriend. After you die I can rule the underworld for my self." She looks at Silhouette who James can see was held by a large creature was trying to break free wanting to get to him "As for you," she ran her finger down Silhouette's face "I'm going to have fun torturing you to death." She turns to James and smiles then closes the cell door locking it. "Good-bye Mr. VanHellsing." Arachnid and the guard with Silhouette drag her off out of sight, soon it became quite.
