It wasn't far from where we were. Probably a good five minute walk.

"Where are you from?" Tyler blurted out

"California, and you?"

He smirked at me "a California girl eh? Daisy dukes bikinis? Will I see them?"

I did not believe he just said that.

"If your lucky."

He smirked. "Sassy aren't you?"

"I'll put up a fight."

"So will I, we will get along sugarplum."

We arrived at the dorm. It was a small apartment. It had a tiny kitchen, a little living space, two bedrooms and a bathroom.

The whole thing was actually well decorated. The monochromatic colors looked very well with the paint on the walls.

"Your room is the one on the left. The roof leaks when it rains but that's all."

I turned to face him. He was sitting at the little table. His perfect jaw, his beautiful brown hair.

"What will I do then?" I asked giving him a small look.

"We will figure it out then. Are you hungry baby?"

I rolled my eyes but then nodded my head. "What's with all the names?"

He smirked. "What you know you like them."

Tyler took a step towards me and I felt vulnerable. He got really close to my face. Our foreheads were touching.

He just stared into my eyes. I felt like he could do anything at that moment but he just stared.

"Let's get this straight.." He started "I want you to know your a pretty girl, and you'll be swooning over me at any second. It's natural."

His cocky attitude ruined the moment.

He called my pretty though... No. He was a jerk.

I pushed him away from me.

"Hah. I'd be a fool to fall for you. I know what I want and that's what I'll get. I don't see where you come along in my plan. Now if you'll excuse me I will be unpacking." I flipped my hair and started to grab my things.

He was taken back by my answer but it serves him right.

"Babe, I'm hungry."

I was sitting on the couch reading. Tyler sat next to me and stared into my eyes.

"I said babe I'm hungry." He said looking at my with pouty eyes

"I have stuff to do, can't you see I'm busy?"

He snatched my book from my hands and stood up.

"Hey!"

I reached for it but he extended his arm, I was too short for this. But I dangled on his arm while he smirked.

"It's not funn-"

While trying to get my book I made him lose his balance. I started to fall back first when he grabbed me in his arms, held me close to his chest and fell  on his back.

I landed on top of him. My hands on his chest.

"Oh my gosh are you okay??" I asked slowly getting up from my position.

"I'm good." He said standing up.

Tyler held out his hand and I took it as he helped me up.

He smirked at me after I got up.

"I'm going out tonight, I have a chick to get. I have to get ready."

I rolled my eyes and shooed him off.

"Wait... A date? Did we just have a moment, he told me I was pretty, he made sure i didn't get hurt, he teased me, NO. Stop thinking about him." I thought to myself

Moments later Tyler walked out of his room.

"Okay bye."

I waved after him. "I wonder who he's going out with, it would've been nice if he stayed and tried to get to know me maybe.." I mumbled to myself.

I was tired of reading, it was only 6, I have no idea when he will be home.

"Time for dinner." I thought

*******
10...11....midnight

The hours seemed so long. Why wasn't he home yet? Is this normal?

Suddenly I heard a key enter the door. Tyler slipped in quietly thinking I was asleep.

"Are you usually out this late?" I blurted out causing him to jump.

"No, tonight was... Different. I hooked up with this one chick and then got in a fight with her boyfriend then hooked up with his sister and broke her heart."

I looked at him with wide eyes.

"You.... Are quite the.... Guy"

He smirked at me and moved to the fridge where he got a Coke.

"That's why the ladies love me, although I've never found a girl to make me stay." His voice trailed off

"That's too bad."

"Why are you up so late?"

I couldn't think of an actual excuse.

"Ummmm just reading."

"Really? Is that all you'll ever do? Read? But seriously, did you wait for me?"

His brown eyes looked deep into mine and he have a half smile revealing a part of his dimple.

I wasn't, was I?

"No. I was intrigued by my book, I didn't really realize how late it was until you came home."

His smirk faded.

"Are you tired?"

"Nope." I replied getting up to get myself a soda

"Well tell me about yourself."

"What do you want to know?"

"Come on baby, anything really, your past, childhood, family, interests."

I looked at him and tilted my head in confusion.

This will be a long night.
