Tyler turns on the radio after a while of silence and "stressed out" plays. We've been on the road for about a half an hour and I still don't know where we're going.

"Okay if you don't tell me where we're going I'll jump out of the car." I didn't mean it but I wanted to make me point clear.

"Do it." Tyler said speeding up.

I slumped down into my seat signifying he won.

"Maybe if you were patient you would see." He looked at me then back at the road. "Your new here right?"

I felt vulnerable. I didn't want to answer his stupid question. I was still pissed off at him for not telling me, for stealing my bucket list, and for slamming my face in the door. This idiot was "great" at first impressions yet for some reason I was still with him. Oh yeah... It's because I'm new and have no friends.

"Yes I'm new here."

He turns down a road with a line of shops.

"Well I'd like to show you around."

I looked at him skeptically.

"Not as a date. If you think I'd take you on a date your out of your mind."

Ouch.

The reality of his statement hurt but I was better this way. I couldn't have a thing with my roommate. Its cliche and don't want a part of him either.

"Don't worry. I wouldn't date you either." I snap back

Tyler smirks at me.

"You know you want to."

"I wouldn't date someone who's ego is bigger than themselves."

The silence after that shows I've won. I thank my grandma for teaching me how to snap when I need to.

Tyler parks the car and gets out. Knowing he isn't anywhere near a gentleman I don't wait for him to open my door and I do it myself. I have no idea where we are or what we're doing. There's a line of shops, it's a cute old fashioned looking place. The shops range from a cafe to a antique store. I stood there and took in the beauty of it.

"Hurry up." Tyler growled

I walked over and met up with him.

"Where are we going?"

"To the cafe. Then I'm taking you threw some of my favorite shops."

I nodded. 'Why is he all the sudden being nice?' I thought to myself.

"This isn't a date is it?"

He scoffed "please. I wouldn't date you. Your paying for your lunch. I was just hungry."

'Just kidding he isn't nice.'

"Why wouldn't you date me?"

'Why did I say that. Why did I say that? Why did I say that?!' I regretted it the moment it slipped out of my mouth.

Tyler smirked at me. "You are my roommate. You are new to this school. You are not my type. Although you obviously want to date me, I don't want to date you."

Ouch.

I scoffed at his response "I don't want to date you."

"Then why would you ask?"

"I don't know why I asked."
