"So tell me about your childhood."
I looked over at the devilishly handsome smirk on his face.
"Why would it matter to you?" I asked started to get off the couch.
Right when I started to walk away he grabbed my hips and spun me around.
Our noses were nearly touching and he said "because I want to know you."
I blushed. "Okay. Well when I was seven my dad died of cancer." My eyes started to water, "after that I moved to California."
I hurriedly finished my sentence so he didn't realize I was crying.
Too late. He engulfed me in his arms. I started crying harder.
"It's okay."
After a few minutes of silence and him rubbing tears from my eyes he spoke to me.
"Where did you live before?"
I moved out of his arms and took a sip of my soda.
"Arizona. And you?"
"I've always lived here." He scoffed
"What do you do in your freetime?" I asked trying to keep the conversation going
"Girls. How many boys have you kissed?"
I looked at him. He didn't just go there.
"Excuse me?"
"You heard me, I'll be one of them. I know you love me."
"You're a cocky jerk. I'll never love you."
"How have I been a jerk to you?"
I thought for a minute, he hasn't honestly, he let me stay with him. He comforted me.
"I'm sorry you actually haven't..." I trailed off and his smirk appeared
"I'm just being nice to start."
I shuddered at the thought of that, he was going to start to show his real self and I wasn't sure I wanted apart of it.
"Tell me about yourself."
"Sorry princess I don't do backstorys, you want to know about me you watch me."
"Come on, just tell me simple things."
"Like what?"
I laid my head down on a pillow, and thought.
"What's your favorite color?"
"Don't have one."
"Where do you work?"
"Not your business."
"What's your favorite thing to do?"
"It changes all the time."
"Ugh! You're useless."
He smirked at me.
"Sorry missy prissy, I don't like to talk about myself."
