Permanent Vacation

Chapter 4

I woke in a bunk and all the memories came flooding back.I can't believe what I did,I shouldn't have done it.I'm so stupid and now I'm crying into the one I hurt the most chest.I'll be making this up to him for awhile.

"Sky,are you okay,"someone asked from behind me.It was one of the boys,but I could tell it was Calum.

"Cal,is that you,"I asked so I didn't sound crazy for calling someone by the wrong name.

"Yeah,but can you answer me Sky,you've been crying almost every time I've seen you,"Cal asked.

"Is just that I can't believe what I did,it was stupid.What hurts the most is that I made Luke do all those things,"I said.I made Cal lean in so I could whisper something to him.

"It hurts more than it should because I still love him,"I said.

"That had to make it extremely hard to leave then,"Cal said.

"You have no idea.I just can't believe that I'm lying here next to him,the one that about killed their self because of my stupid mistake,"I said.

"I would give you a hug,but I don't wanna wake Luke.But it's fine because he didn't Sky,"Cal said.

"Thanks Cal,that made me feel a little bit better,"I said as I rolled back over to go to sleep.

I woke up and I looked up and Luke was awake.

"Good morning Sky,"Luke said with a smile.

"Good morning penguin,"I said as I went to get food.He followed as I got cereal.

We ate some cereal and I went back to my bunk.I pulled out my laptop and looked online for some new clothes.I couldn't find any,so I put my laptop away and pulled out my phone.I scrolled through instagram for a while and then put my phone down because I was bored.I didn't mean to,but I fell asleep.

I woke up to the sound of someone groaning.I wasn't sure what was happening,but I was going to go check it out.As I got closer to the back room,I heard people talking,so I hid in one of the bunks.

"Just tell her Luke,you can't pretend any longer and we all can see that,"Calum said.

"But she won't feel the same.I know she won't because we've always been friends and she'll hate me because of what I did a few years ago,"Luke said.

"Trust me Luke,she'll feel the same,"Ash said.

"Man up Luke,your acting like a child,"Mikey said.

"Luke,she feels the same way,"Calum whined.

"And what if she doesn't.What if she says that she doesn't love me the way I love her,"Luke said.I got out of the bunk and stood in the doorway.Luke was pacing around the room,pulling at his hair.He didn't notice me,but the other boys did.

"Uh,how much of that did you hear,"Ash asked.

"She'll find out eventually,"Mikey mumbled as if I wouldn't hear.

"What will I find out,"I asked like I didn't know what was going on.

"I'm just going to give these two some privacy.Mikey,Ash,lets go,"Cal said as he walked out.

"But I want to see what happens,"Mikey complained.

"You'll find out later,now come on,"Ash said as Mikey followed him out of the room.

I looked over at Luke and he was pacing around and scratching the back of his neck.He was nervous and he was making it obvious.

"Um,where do I start,"Luke said as he stopped pacing and looked me in the eyes.
