Hey guys! I know it's been a while and i'm sorry. So to make it up to you here is without further ado, Freak Chapter 8!
Enjoy!
~Louis
"So you did what, exactly?"
It was saturday. The morning was crisp and cool. Rays of light fluttered through the window and landed on the oak table in streaks of brilliant sunlight. Liam was over for breakfast and we were discussing certain matters of importance. The topic this morning was the teenager who was currently sleeping in my guest room.
I trained my eyes to Liam's brown ones and finally answered his question though nothing I said would change the current setting or my actions from the previous day.
"Look, Liam you should have seen him! He was absolutely filthy!" I answered.
"Well that doesn't make it right to let him use your freaking shower now does it Louis?" Liam replied his thick eyebrow raised.
I nodded my head in agreement because he was correct.
I honestly believe I have a serious medical issue. Sometimes I jut do things on the spur of the moment and I don't think about it at all. I just do. Now that I do think about yesterday I wonder why I let the poor boy into my house in the first place. I guess I might've felt sorry for him or the fact the he was absolutely filthy.
"Liam, before you get all fatherly on me I'd like to say one thing." I began Liam staring intently at me awaiting my answer.
"What would you have done if you ran into a boy your age in which he was so skinny his ribs were showing, his hair covered in dirt and his skin even was visible with what looked like slim. Tell me. What would you do?"
Liam was silent. He stared at me in bewilderment. Probably because I just described what sounded like the most impossible situation.
I smirked standing to rinse out my cup of tea.
"Well, I guess, I would've done what you did." Liam muttered still in partial shock.
" anyways Liam you really need to meet him. He's a great guy. Like seriously he's just like us. Funny, charming and not bad looking if I do say so myself." I smiled flipping my hair to the side with a confident look. "Although for the record." I lowered my voice for effect. "I am the best looking in the group, Zayn doesn't exist and nether does his cheek bones."
Liam rolled his eyes and stood walking to me in the kitchen.
"Oh Louis. What are we going to with the sass master from doncaster?"
I shrugged getting a smile plus a laugh from the younger boy.
"So uh how long is he going to be here?" Liam asked suddenly changing the subject back to curly.
"Um, I'm not sure. I mean, I really shouldn't be telling you this but, his parents died when he was ten, he has no clue where his sister is and he has no place to stay."
Once again the house went silent with only the chirp of the birds to disturb the awkwardness.
"That's really his situation?" Liam whispered his voice cracking and his eyes filling with sympathy.
I nodded trying my best not to cry. Louis Tomlinson does not cry, I'm serious.
"Wow." He exclaimed his voice quieter than it ever had been in his life.
We shared a few moments together discussing what we would do with the little green eyed boy. I told him he would stay with me until he got his feet on the ground and Liam agreed to help with anything I needed.
"Oh yeah and I told him he's coming shopping with us today." I said with a small voice.
Liam raised a thick brown eyebrow.
"Did you now?"
"He doesn't have any clothing Liam. Please?" I pleaded.
Liam sucked in his cheeks and sighed.
"Well, alright. I guess it'll be a good way of getting to know him."
"There's the bright side! Good for you Mr. Sunshine!" I yelled embracing Liam in a hug.
"Call me Mr. Sunshine one more time and your pretty little face won't be so pretty."
I quickly let go of Liam scooting in my chair a little farther away from him.
"Got ya!" Said Liam.
I stuck my tongue out at him and he returned the gesture.
...
"Morning." I quickly looked up from me and Liam's bickering to see Harry standing sleepily in the living room. He had the jeans and sweatshirt I gave him as well as that gray beanie on again today.
"Oh um Liam!" I yelled at Liam and he stood awkwardly.
"Harry, this is Liam. Liam this is Harry."
"Nice to meet you Harry!" Liam smiled and stuck out his hand. Harry shook it with a small smile of his own.
"Can I use the bathroom?" Harry asked and I nodded as he patted across the carpet to the bathroom.
Liam whipped his body around to face me.
"YOU NEVER TOLD ME HE WAS THAT SKINNY!!" Liam whisper yelled.
"Well I'm sorry!" I yelled back.
Harry came back and we both snapped up into beyond cheesy smiles.
"So Harry." I walked over to him and rested my hand on his shoulder. "Do you want to come shopping with Liam and I today?" I asked. He shrugged.
"Sure. I guess it'll be fun."
Me and Liam exchanged glances of what I hope was relief. We both basically had not a single clue how to handle Harry. I mean really, how do you handle a teenager who's beyond underweight and barely ever talks unless you're alone with him?
