My eyelids fluttered open. My stomach did a full 360 degree summersault. Today, Today the plan goes into full swing.

I stood walking to the bars and glancing around. Everyone stared at me and you could just feel the musty cloud of the tension in the air. Everyone knew what was about to happen. Everyone that is, except the guards.

"How you feeling?" Ivan's voice drifted from his cell and I rested my eyes on his.

"Fine. I guess.." I mumbled not really in the mood for speaking.

I was scared. Well, not really scared. I was horrified. I remembered what Mr. Seneca said to me. He wanted to kill me if I escaped. During the night I considered not going through with the plan but soon I realized I had to. Well maybe I didn't have to but- Oh god i'm so confused.

I slumped to the ground and stared straight ahead at the wall. Slowly the hours ticked away. Me and Ivan were restless in all that time that we waited.

Colin walked by at some point, probably on his way to his assignment, and shot me the number two. It was two o'clock. My heart skipped a beat, and began rapidly pounding in my chest. I tried to think out how I would do this but nothing came to my mind. I could never plan for this. How could I?

When the time was drawing near I stood and asked Ivan a question I wanted to ask for a while now.

"Ivan? Do you want to come with me?"

He glanced up, his yellow eyes wide but shook his head.

"Nah. You go. I'll be fine."

"I can't leave you here alone. If I get this chance so should you."

"Hey Harry. You deserve a better life. And besides Amberly needs at least someone to look out for her."

I looked at the little girl who was ripping off pieces of her floral dress and was twirling the cloth in her hair as bows. She looked up at me and smiled, he satin pink lips in line. She then looked out and slid something under her cell door to mine. I looked down at the little object, smiling at Amberly. I then slid the present in my pocket. 'Thank you' I mouthed, and she nodded.

...

Soon, after three excruciating hours the time came. The guards thinned out and only about four remained in our hall. I saw Colin send me a signal with his hand and I swallowed the lump in my dry throat. Slowly I removed the wire from the door and held it shut as I glanced around. Ivan sent me a look and sent him a small smile in return.

"Good luck buddy." The boy whispered. "Go. Live your life the way it was meant to be lived"

I promised myself I wasn't going to cry but I did anyway. A few tears slipped from my eyes and I saw Ivan with this look in his eyes, he looked like he wanted so badly to embrace me in a hug, but we knew it wasn't possible right now. And it never would be.

Finally when the guards had their backs to me, and everyone was watching, hanging on the edge of their seats, waiting for the show to begin, I flung my cell door open and ran.

The events of what happened next are a blur to me. It happened so incredibly fast I don't even know if I can recall them but I can give it a go.

I took off down the hall sprinting as fast as I possibly could. I ran past cell after cell of hybrids and Shapeshifter's cheering me on. It was actually encouraging and it seemed to be making me faster. As I ran a guard shouted something in the distance.

"What the ell'!?!? Ow' did he get out?!!?" The guard yelled in a horribly uncivilized british accent.

After running for what seemed like hours I reached the huge elevator bay Colin was talking about. He was right. It was a large circular bay with two elevators. The bay also had hallways that forked off in different directions.
