CHAPTER 6

“Of course he can, but baby there’s more. It may affect Derek and your relationship a lot. Well you see Eric will be moving in here until he can get on his feet.” My mouth literally dropped to the floor. I couldn’t believe what I was hearing. All of sudden it hit me. We only had enough rooms for Bradley, mom and dad, and me. Where was he going to sleep?

    “Where is he going to sleep?” I questioned.

    She saw my expression and began shaking her head, “Oh no, not in your room. I promise. Your father is giving up his study and we’re turning that into his bedroom.”

    “What a relief. So I guess I should tell Derek that Eric will be living here for awhile?”

    “Yeah. Eric will be moving in right after his graduation.” I walked up to my room after giving my mom one more hug. I didn’t know how Derek was going to take this news. After all it’s not like a brother moving in. It’s a boy our age, which I use to like. I don’t think I still have feelings for him anymore. No definitely not, I like Derek. Actually I think I might be falling in love with him. I got to let him know that before Eric gets here. Oh I hope he takes the news okay. I grabbed my keys and phone, and went out the door. I hoped in my car and called Derek.

    “Hello?” he answered groggily.

    “Hey Derek, I know it super late, or super early. I guess it could all depend on how you look at it. I look at it as…” I answered.

    “Liz darling, I get it.”

    “Sorry, I was rambling. Anyways I need to talk to you. It’s very, I mean EXTREMELY important.”

    “Are you okay? You’re not hurt or anything, are you?”

    “No, but I want to tell you right away.”

    “Okay where do you want to meet me?”

    “I’ll drive by your house and pick you up. Okay?”

    “Yeah I’ll see you in about 5 minutes.”

    “Okay. Bye.”

    “Bye.” Then I hung up and started to go towards his house. All of a sudden my phone started ringing. I quickly flipped it open an answered it.

    “Hello?” I asked.

    “VADANIA ELIZABETH HURLEY, YOU LEFT ME!!!!! YOU JUST FORGOT ABOUT ME, AND TOOK OFF!” Sarah yelled.

    “Whoops.”

    “WHOOPS. IS THAT ALL YOU HAVE TO SAY!!!!! I CAN NOT BELIEVE THIS.”

    “I’m going to go talk to Derek and I'll be right back.”

    “You owe me Liz, and I mean you owe me big time.”

    “Okay, I owe you. I love you Sarah.”

    “You better. I love you too. Be careful.”

    “I will. Peace, grease, and applesauce.”

    “Yeah, bye to you to,” she said before hanging up. I really didn’t mean to leave her behind. I was just thinking about Derek. I pulled up to his house. He was waiting on the porch for me. He hopped into the passenger seat and leaned over kissing my lips slightly. However, I deepened the kiss. We went on like that until I had to breathe. I was always the first one to pull away for breath.
