Recap:

“I just love the way you blush so easily!” he grinned, sipping his coffee.

Before I could I get the chance to reply, his phone started ringing. Both of us jumped in shock.

“Hey! Who’s this?” Max questioned, activating the speaker phone.

“Hey man! It’s me, Luke.”  The caller replied.

“Oh! Sorry bro I didn’t check the caller id” Max replied, rubbing the back of his neck.

“It’s your old habit Tom, I’m not really surprised.” The caller answered but this time the voice didn’t came from the phone, it sounded much nearer. I looked up in surprise to find a pair of striking green eyes looking back at me.

“Hey man! What are you doing here?” Max asked the stranger cheerfully, causing the green eyed man to look away from me as he shook Max’s hand. While the two…um…whatever they were engaged in small talk, I observed the intruder.

He was wearing a black hoodie with skin coloured Puma trousers. The hoodie was big for him, not allowing me to get a proper look at his face. He seemed well built.

I had observed all these things when the two turned back to me.

“Who is this beautiful young lady, Max? Would you like to introduce me to her?” he questioned, eyeing me curiously. I could feel the heat pooling in my cheeks again, regardless of how hard I tried to stop it.

“Sure.” Max started. “Luke this is Elisa.” He said pointing towards me. “Elisa this is Luke, the great Luke Morris, the famous movie star and the current teenage sensation.” Max finished in a dramatically awestruck tone, patting Luke on the back.

“That wasn’t needed Max.” Luke said although there was a smug look on his face.

“Um…its nice meeting you Luke.” I hesitantly said, turning my attention back to my coffee which was icy cold by now.

They both remained standing there unmoving, and after a while it got to my nerves.

What?” I asked, tilting my head towards them. Tom was the first to speak.

“Aren’t you going to start fan girling or something? He asked, the confusion clear on his face. I stared at them, wondering on how to answer that question. The only answer I could come up with was aimed more at deflecting the question than answering it.

“And why would I do that?”

Their jaws dropped at my answer, both looking at me like I had suddenly declared I hate chocolate. I waited for them to take their seats but they remained stationery.

“I think you both might want to close your mouths before you catch a fly.” I stated. Both of them exchanged a look. Simultaneously, they both dropped into seats.
