I sighed as I walked through the crowded halls of the school feeling like I could fall asleep any second.

I didn't get any sleep last night since the twins decided it would be fun to have a fucking pajama party on a Sunday night, turns out they don't have classes today. By the time they fell asleep and stopped making so much noise it was already three in the morning and I had lost all will to sleep so today I was positive that no matter how much makeup I put on I would still look like a rakoon. Yay.

Me being my clumsy self I bumped into someone making them fall back with me falling on top of them.

"Oh my god I'm so sorry"

"It's fine" the guy chuckled, I placed my forearms on his chest to push myself up so I could at least see his face, when I saw it I almost screamed.

"Oh my god, it's you" i whispered making him scrunch up his eyebrows

"What?"

"Nothing! Nothing" I nervously chuckled and got up quickly, making him follow my lead.

"I'm Luke" he smiled, god he's so attractive I can't believe it.

"Im Hailey"

Before neither of us could say anything else the bell rang making the students run off to their classrooms

"I guess I'll see you around hailey"

"Okay" God why am I so awkward.

He waved and walked away to his class and I did the same with mine suddenly feeling a lot more awake than before.

today i stayed in the library a little longer than usual since I had a huge paper to write and it took me a while. Once I was out of the library I noticed the halls were unusually quiet. when I reached the music room I saw the guitar boy- Luke - walking out of the classroom with his guitar case on his back. I froze and started panicking and trying to figure out a way to get away from there before he saw me, but it was too late. 

"Hailey?" 

"Luke! hi" I breathed out as he walked up to me.

"What are you doing here? school was over hours ago"

" I usually stay late to do my homework here, it's a lot more quiet than my house. What about you?"

"Oh I stay to practice" he pulled at the strap of his guitar case " My house has very thin walls so I usually annoy my family or my neighbours if I play there"

"The same thing happens to me, only I can never practice because my little brothers always interrupt"

"You play guitar?" he raised his evebrows 

"Piano" 

"Really? mind showing me?" he motioned towards the music room

"Absolutely no" I shook my head " I don't play in front of people"

"Please?" he stared at me with puppy eyes for what felt like for ever and it impossible to say no.

"Okay i'll tell you what, i'll play for you if you play for me"

"that's not gonna happen" 

"then no deal" he looked between by eyes for a few seconds before finally sighing

"fine, come on"

He opened the door and we both walked in, going to the front of the room where there was a keyboard the teacher used during the classes.

"wait i'm going first?"

"of course you are" 

"that's not fair"

"yes it is"

"no it's not, rock paper scissors for it" 

"fine" he groaned 

"rock, paper, scissors, shoot" 

I looked down at our hands, he held out rock while I had scissors

"I hate you" I muttered while he had a proud grin on his face.

I sat down on the chair in front of the keyboard and turned it on, placing my fingers lightly over the keys. I could feel his eyes on me and my hands started to shake slightly, I just looked at them trying to get them to stop but they would'nt. This always happened to me whenever I tried playing in front of someone and I hated it.

"Hey it's okay, calm down, I'm not going to judge you" Luke said soothingly. he seemed to have an effect on me because I instantly felt less nervous and my hands slowly stopped shaking. I took a deep breath and started moving my fingers over the chords and singing quietly.

"I need some time just deliver the things that I need for now

And it's taking me to somewhere new

as I went on I felt more and more confident and my voice started to get louder.

I sheepishly looked up to find Luke looking at me with his lips slightly parted

"so...?" I said nervously

"Hailey that was...that was beautiful, you are amazing"
