Today, a great man died. He played one of our favourite characters. But he didn't just play him, he was one of our favourite characters, if you so happen to understand what I am saying. We laughed at his rude remarks, we cried when we found out his back story. He was a very brave man. Some may say that he was the bravest man you ever met.
Today, on the 16 of January 2016 at the age of 70, Alan Rickman died.
I am not sure when or how, it could have been anything, but he is gone.
This little tribute isn't much, and I know that, but I would like it if he were to be remembered, not only among Potterheads, but among everybody. Whether you be a Potterhead or not, he should be remembered. And in years to come, if we are re-reading Snape's death on this date and our family asks,
"After all this time?"
We will reply,
"Always."
To Alan Rickman, the bravest man we ever knew.
