Me and Cole have been hanging out a lot recently. Whenever he's suppost to be training, he sneaks of the bounty and comes to hang out with me. We go to cafés and have picnics in the park. We once went to a fancy restaurant, but the food was horrible and the service was terrible. So we decided to stick with picnics and cafés. But today it was a surprise.
Cole had told me to go to The Flowing Waters a café that Cole always brings me to. I walked in the door and the waitress (Lola) that always serves us came over. "Hi (y/n)!" Lola said. "Is it just you today?" "Nope, Cole said that he would meet me here. It's a surprise today." I told her. "Ooooo! Well when your date is over call me!" she said excitedly. "Lola! Were not dating! I told you that already!" I complained but laughed with her. "Oh shoot! The boss is coming better get back to work! I'll come take your order in a minute!" she told me and ran off. I laughed at her and went to my usual seat beside the waterfall (that's why it's called The Flowing Waters). Lola soon came over and sat down beside me.
"I would like a (f/d) (favourite drink) please," I told her. Lola groaned but got up and soon came back with my (f/d). "There ya go!" she said and collapsed in the chair opposite me. I took a sip of my drink and smiled. Me and Lola talked for 5 minutes until her boss spotted her and told her to get back to work. Lola giggled and said bye. "Bye!" I replied.
~5 minutes later~
*Where the flip is Cole! He is taking forreevvveeerrr!!!!* I thought as I played Candy Crush on my phone. I'm on level 285 (A/N: I ament actually. My mum is though) and the level is impossible!! Just as I'm about to get up and leave, convinced that Cole wasn't coming, he sat down in front of me. "Sorry I'm late! My brothers were being very annoying! And by being annoying I mean they threatened to tell Sensei that I was sneaking out while I was suppost to be training. So now I'm stuck with doing their laundry for the next 3 days!" Cole complained. I patted his head and said "Poor boy!" in a sympathetic voice. Cole lightly shoved my hand away and told me "Don't touch my hair!" Then he patted my beanie. "Don't touch my beanie! Or else......" I threatened.
"Whatever. So are you ready?" he asked. "Yop!" I replied getting up and grabbing my stuff. We walked out of the café waving bye to Lola. I looked up at the sky. It was getting pretty late we must have been in there for ages, though it didn't feel that long. Just then Cole stopped me and pulled out a blindfold. I looked at him like he was crazy. "You have to wear the blindfold now (y/n)," he said in a babyish voice. I stuck my tongue out at him, but let him put the blindfold over my eyes.
He then took my hand and led me through the winding streets. After a while Cole stopped me and said that I could take the blindfold off. As I did I blinked in surprise. It was night time now and the stars were twinkling in the dark. Cole had taken me to a cliff that overlooked the sea, the one I used to go to when I was small. And on the edge of the cliff there was a picnic basket.
I turned around to Cole and gave him a big hug. "I love it," I told him. Then he poked me. "Your it!" he said and ran away. I ran after him. We played tag for a few more minutes, until Cole got hungry. He walked over to the picnic basket and bent over to get it, when the piece of earth that he and the picnic basket were on broke off. He, the picnic basket and the edge of the cliff fell down tumbling towards the sea. "Cole!" I yelled running to the new edge of the cliff. I watched as he fell. *Oh crap!* I thought. Cole was getting nearer to the water. Just as Cole was about to hit the water, it rose up around him and kept him aloft like a fan.
He looked dumbstruck. Then he saw me with my hands out, controlling the water. I made the water bring him to the shore. Then I raced down there, my (h/c) hair flying through the wind. I reached Cole and helped him up. I expected him to give me a look of disgust, to turn away, to say 'Your a freak' or something like that. Instead he hugged me (A/N: As you can probably see I like hugs😊). When he pulled away, I looked at him in shock. "Aren't you going to call me a freak, a monster, anything like that?" I asked him. "Nope. Because I have powers too!" he replied. Then he lifted the piece of earth up off the ground and shaped it into a square, a circle, a triangle and a star, all with the flick of his hand.
He smiled at me and poked me again. "Your it!" he told me and ran off. Again. I laughed and chased him and we did that for the rest of the night.
