It was a boring day.
I was walking down the streets of Ninjago when suddenly I was pushed into an alleyway. I stumbled a bit, but soon regained my balance. I looked around. I was surrounded by 5 boys. The biggest one came forward. He had a red and purple stripey mohawk, and he had tattoos all over his body, aswell as a nose ring and a tongue piercing. "Give us your money!" "No!" "Why not!" "Because it's mine!" We went on fighting for a few more minutes. Then he actually used his brain (however small that is), and told his boys to attack me. The smallest boy came at me with his fists out in the air like Superman. I flipped over him and elbowed him in the back. He fell to the ground groaning in pain. Then the 2nd boy came at me. I dropped to the floor and swept his feet out from under him. He fell down and hit is head on the concrete. The 3rd boy looked unsure, but charged at me anyway. I waited until he was an inch away from me. Then I cartwheeled out of the way. The boy ran into a pile of trash. I cocked my eyebrow at the 4th boy. He ran off. I was feeling pretty happy with myself until I remembered about the 5th. Just then I felt something breathing down my neck. Then as soon as it started it stopped. I cautiously turned around. There was a boy with orange hair and electric blue eyes. And he was grinning at me. "Thank you," I told him. "No problem!" he replied. Then he started talking about how awesome my fighting skills are. But he was cut off short by the guy who ran into the trash. He was starting to move. I looked at red and he looked at me. We ran. Soon we were 3 blocks away from the alleyway. Then he looked at his watch. "Shoot gotta go!" he said and ran off. "Wait!" I yelled after him. "I never got your name!" But he was already gone. I was about to walk off when a piece of paper fluttered into my hand. It was a note:
Dear (e/c) (eye colour),
Sorry didn't catch your name. I'm Jay nice to meet you. So I was wondering if maybe you'd like to hang out sometime? I mean you don't have to! I was just wondering..... So anyway here's my number. Please call me. (Oh god I sound like somebody desperate now. )
I laughed. I guess today wasn't such a boring day after all.
