*Reagan’s POV*
I walked to class deep in thought. Why did Jordan run off without telling me? It is my responsibility to make sure he gets to class on time. He also requested me. Why would he request me if he was only going to ditch me? Or, he’s getting payback for saying we couldn’t be friends. Who knows.
“Reagan, why are you late?” My career ed teach asked me.
“I was talking to Mrs. White.” I answered nicely.
“Do you have a note?” Mr. Johnson asked me.
“Uhm, yeah. Here” I said and handed him the note.
“Take a seat then. Since your late, take the seat next to Jordan.”
Really? I have to sit next to Jordan. UGH. I was paying attention to the teacher when all of a sudden a piece of paper hits my desk. I look around since there’s not names on the paper. I opened the note, and I didn’t recognize the handwriting. The note read ‘Is it true your trouble? Just write back and leave the note on the desk. Then ask to go to the bathroom.’ Really? Who said I was trouble? Maybe it was Tiffany. She does hate me. I don’t know why Tiffany hates me. I wrote back ‘Define Trouble.’ I folded the note back up and then I raised my hand.
“Yes Reagan?” Mr. Johnson asked.
“May I use the bathroom?” I asked nicely. When it comes to asking for things for teachers, you wanna do it nicely or else they won’t listen.
“Go ahead. But hurry back!” Mr. Johnson said.
“Okay.” I walked out of the classroom and into the hallway. I started to walk to the bathroom but then stopped. I wanted to know who wrote that note. By the time I looked back into the room, there was no note on my desk. I chose then to walk back inside the classroom. I looked around my desk before I sat down and I noticed the note in my chair. Really? My chair? I sat down and started to open the note. It read ‘Define trouble? Hmp. You know, your not the goody – two shoes everyone else is. I guess you kind of are trouble. Throw this note away or keep it. It doesn’t matter. There’s no need to write back though. Bye Reagan.’ The note read. What? Who the hell is sending me this note?
