And she did do it again. And again. It had become a routine for her to spend every Saturday at Brian's house, and every other evening she saw the chance to sneak out and come back without getting caught. However, there were some times when she didn't manage to sneak back inside and her father caught her. She didn't like to think about those times. But she endured that. It was worth it. She could cover everything up with make up and being with Brian made up for the horrible things her father did to her.

It was the day after such an evening. While climbing back inside the night before she had slipped on the wood that was wet because it had rained. Her father had heard her and.. She didn't want to recall the rest of the night.

She was still in bed the next morning, not wanting to get up. She knew that every movement was going to hurt and she knew her father would make her day hell. She closed her eyes and tried to fight the tears once more. She wasn't going to give in to them again. This was what her father wanted and before she became friends with Brian she would have let her father but now she didn't want to let him win anymore.

With a groan she sat up and grimaced. Her stomach hurt a lot. It had never been that bad, she didn't want to see her face if her stomach was already that bad. Sighing she rubbed her eyes, flinching when she felt the pain shooting through her head. Damn it.. she really wanted to get out of this house and spend the day with Brian, but with how she looked and felt that wasn't going to happen.

But she couldn't spend all day in bed, she didn't want to let her father win completely, so she slowly got up and trudged to her desk. She pulled out the chair and sat down on it, grimacing in pain. It was time to get the make up out to try to hide her scars and bruises. She did the best she could to make the bruises less visible when she was interrupted by small clinking sounds on her window.

A little confused she got up and walked to the window, grimacing with every step she took. She glanced outside and widened her eyes when she saw Brian standing there. Hastily she opened the window, almost throwing her small potted plants to the ground. "Brian?!" She whispered loudly and stared at him with wide eyes. "What the hell are you doing here?"

He seemed surprised by her outburst. "I-I just wanted to come over, but I didn't want to knock. Can you let me in?"

She rolled her eyes a little and sighed. She didn't want to, but she did want to spend time with him and he was here so.. she could let him in. She nodded. "All right, give me a minute. And you have to be absolutely quiet."

He smiled and nodded.

She quietly closed the window and snuck downstairs hoping none of her family members would run into them. If they knew she was having a friend over, they would flip, but that friend was a boy and that was completely unacceptable. Trying not to make the front door squeak too much she opened it and smiled timidly at Brian. "Just come in, don't say a word," she whispered and let him inside.

He obeyed and followed her up to her room.

Billie kept her eyes down the entire time, embarrassed of how her house looked, especially because they both knew Brian's home looked so much nicer. She could hear her sister coming home so she pushed Brian inside her room, almost making him fall over. Her sister was coming upstairs so she quickly closed her door and stood in the hallway, looking at her sister with wide eyes.

"What are you doing here? Go back to your room!"

Billie flinched and looked at the ground when her sister snapped at her. "Y-Yes.. s-sorry, I was just in t-" Her sister didn't let her finish the sentence.

"I don't give a fuck where you were, just get out of my way. You digust me."

Billie just nodded. "O-Okay.." Trying not to open the door too far she went inside her room, hoping her sister hadn't seen Brian. She pushed the door shut and quietly turned the key in the lock, leaning her head against the door. She jumped a little and spun around when she felt Brian's hand on her shoulder.
