I shook his hand politely, but continued to stare. He was here, in front of me, a kid deemed dead after running away.

"I'm Elizabeth Maine, I know you from second grade." I said weakly.

A shadow passed over his face, as if remembering an unpleasant thought, but only for a brief second until he smiled again.

"Cool, so a history between you too." Margret said interested.

"Just through school and church." I said restraining myself from asking how he is alive. I assumed it would both be rude in such a public place, and maybe something he wished to forget.

I turned back to Margret and John, curious about their abilities, but I ought to consider mine first.

"So if everyone's abilities are specific, then what the heck are mine?"

Margret and John looked at one another while Mark observed the situation.

"We aren't entirely sure, Squirt hasn't been willing to share what he found out. He doesn't enjoy doing his job as he's told, he likes to make recruiting someone a game, but he acted very differently when he came back." John stated, with a tone of concern in his voice.

I remembered the note on that gray disk, it said

Let the quake begin!

"Then maybe he is more willing to reveal information if I ask." I said not wanting to recount what I did, mostly because I refused to believe it."

Mark piped in. "I saw Squirt pacing in Karts 'War Room', she's not there so I guess he wanted the place to himself."

Without saying anything I began to walk out of the room, desperate for answers, and I began to be followed.

"Hey, hey wait I really don't think he wants to see you, no offense at all, but he seemed really freaked after what happened." Margret said setting he hand on my shoulder.

I pulled away, I hated physical contact. I contemplated her statement for a moment and spoke.

"What's he so frightened off I'm no threat!" I said my temper rising for no reason really. I was just kinda mad this kid failed his job, he probably accidentally drew the governments attention toward me, and he is the reason why me and Margret were pursued at the library.

"Calm down. It's fine, me and John will go talk to him." Margret stated.

I wanted to run out of the room, this Squirt kid put me in the spotlight and I couldn't stand it. I didn't say anything I just stood staring in the distance, letting my thoughts run wild. I heard a rumbling echo around me, Margret, John, and Mark stared around them. I heard crashes and booms, but elected to ignore them, I decided I would go talk to Squirt myself, no matter what the others thought. As I took a step forward and saw my foot slam into the concrete. The others fell behind me, I heard then shouting and I looked back.

They all were trying to stand as I saw the room shake, Margret looked at me horrified. I was unsure as to what the heck I was doing, and I couldn't stop it. I tried to calm down, but I felt like I was out of control, and I continued to watch equipment around the room fall and break, then I noticed the seismographs, one of the only devices still in tact, moving the pen widely across the page. An Earthquake? My anger turned to fear. Before I could do anything I felt my knees crumple beneath me and I heard the rumbling slow. I looked over at the others. They stared, before I could say anything, my eyes glossed over and I felt my back thump against the spot in the concrete where the indent of my foot remained.
