I am so so sorry for not updating in such a long time, it felt like decades ago.
Well, I am making it up to you guys, I'll try my best to write sooner cause I really am busy because of you know, the college life.Since the bathroom incident it was all awkward with me and Terrence that he would always try to ignore me after he turned red as a tomato when he practically saw me almost naked. But, the avoiding scheme he had going was shortly cut when we had to sit together at the dinning table as one family, because Mr. Cole wouldn't allow us to not eat together because it always has been their tradition. I was sitting right in front of Terrence, and there he was acting like I never existed in the first place, and I Was trying to suppress a glare and trying my best not to role my eyes at him. I am starting to dislike this guy thinking that I Should lower my pride and try to be civil with him but nope, not in a million years.
We all sat down in the table, my mouth was starting to water with all the foods Mrs. C prepared in front of us it almost looks like thanks giving dinner without the turkey. Well, I really liked how the food was prepared thank God Mrs. C isn't such a fan of sea foods cause I am severely allergic to sea food especially shrimp, I always have a hard time breathing when I accidentally eat shrimp ever since I was little. I really liked american dishes but I also like some Filipino dishes cause my mom is half Filipino and my dad is a full blooded american born in Ohio, that explains why I am actually short and not-so-white almost tan kind of color.
"Paris can you please pass the salad" mom explained snapping me out of my wandering thoughts, I tried to reach for it but the table was quite big so Terrence handed it to me trying not to look at me. I mumbled "thanks" before I finally passed it to my mom. I stared at the food in front of me worrying which to take first and i finally decided on the mashed potatoes.
"The food is really great Terry, you're cooking skills have become better and better through the years." My mom complimented with a chuckle. "Well, I guess that's the perks of watching food channels a lot" Mrs. C replied with a smile. We continued eating, while I was trying not to acknowledge Terrence's existence.
"So? How's school Paris?" Mr. C asked casually. "Well its fine, finally turning a senior this year." I replied with a slight smile. "Have you planned which college to go to?" Mrs. C added, "Well I still have no Idea, apparently I am still thinking and its still too early, I guess? to rush my decisions" I plainly replied hoping not to remind my mom that I am leaving soon, she kinds of has this separation anxiety with me leaving for college.
"I am hoping Terrence and Ivan go to the same college, cause they are practically like brothers and Its nice to know that we don't have to be too worried cause we know they are watching out for each other's backs." Mr. C exclaimed trying to let Terrence join the conversation.
"Well, I hope so too" he replied staring at his food looking like he was bored.
"Oh so he talks" I mumbled. Holding myself back from being my usual sarcastic self.
He glared at me trying to figure out what I mumbled, he was staring at me like I spoke alien language rather than english. I was thinking to myself that I am not so lucky after all, Ivan might not be here right now but he definitely has a hot cousin who is starting to be my little enemy. After noticing that we were all finished eating we all stood up and started moving around, I took my plate and placed it in the kitchen sink, "no need to do that sweet heart, we can do that go upstairs And get ready for bed cause I know you're tired". I know she wouldn't let me help so I turned around to walk away when she whispered to me "watch out, Ivan and Terrence are quite the pranksters, Ivan might not be here but I am sure Terrence alone can show you his wrath." She exclaimed trying to warn me. "Don't worry Mrs. C I am always good with pay backs" I replied with a wink.
I didn't want to go upstairs yet so I was lounging on the couch at the living room staring at my phone remembering that I should text my best friend thinking that as clingy as she was, she would be worrying right now and would have gone all Crazy about me not talking to her. I was about to send her a text when someone suddenly called me.
"Hello?" I answered it noticing it was an unknown number.
"Umm hey Paris, I was wondering why you blocked my phone number so you can't answer me and how you never seem to respond to my texts, baby please let me explain its not what you think."I froze when I heard his voice, It all came flashing back to me, the night of the victory party, me dating the hottest football player at Middleton high, the team's up coming captain and the guy every girl wants.
I know right? It seems sort of weird, me dating the school's Jock, well who could resist him? For christ sake he was Luke Williams, everyone adored him. But, he was a cheating bastard. It was the typical high school romance when I was just one of those girls who had a huge crush on the schools' Quarter back, the most hottest guy in The campus and the schools' Casanova. He ended up noticing me early Junior year when he spilled coffee all over me as I was on my way to class. I am not the school's Queen B but I can't say that I wasn't popular, I wasn't a nerd either I was just normal, the girl who was respected by everyone because she always stood up for herself even against jocks, the Queen B and her Minions. We started talking a lot, and I realized I really enjoyed his company, we ended up dating and finally became official. We started having complication when the Queen B Georgia Willington stepped in the picture. I heard rumors that Luke and Georgia were found in the Janitors' closet on a full make out session but I never believed them knowing that many people wanted us to break up, so I ignored them all never realizing how naïve I was.
Finally the day came when I finally caught them kissing on the football teams victory party a month ago. Then I realized how stupid I was.
"Its not what you think it was my ass Williams!" I hissed containing my anger.
"Can you at least hear me out?" He tried explaining."What for? So I can hear all your crappy lies? Why should I believe you when I saw you sucking faces with that b*tch"
"She was sucking my face I never wanted it" he exclaimed sounding slightly desperate.
"Are you sure? Cause it seems like you enjoyed it."
"Baby it was never like that, please, listen to me" he exclaimed trying to convince me.
"I am not as stupid as you think Luke, piss off" I said then turned to end the call.
"a-hole" I mumbled.
I walked up stairs to the guest room, I was about to lay under the covers when I sat down I felt something touch my hand I screeched realizing it was a rubber snake that almost looked too real. My heart was almost beating out of my chest it was soon replaced with annoyance and Anger, as I was trying to figure out who could be so evil to do this to me I noticed a note on the floor.
Welcome to the home of the pranksters my lady.
