Trouble in Paradise (literally)

Sirens blared. Greg was following 3 fire trucks to Alicia's house.
Alicia saw the first flame in her kitchen. She tried to put it out, but it didn't work. She picked up the phone and called 911, and ran to her front door. The door handle was hot to the touch. It left a burn in Alicia's hand and was soon engulfed in flames. Alicia looked ran to the other windows, which were also engulfed in flames. There was so much smoke. Alicia started coughing. She ran upstairs and opened a window. She climbed out the window. She tried to lower herself to the ground. Alicia lost her grip and fell, and she felt her leg crack. Alicia laid in her front yard as neighbors came to pull her away from the flames. Then she heard sirens, and saw Greg's car. Greg pulled over on the street and ran over to her. Alicia was covered in burns and ash. She was coughing so much that she could barely breathe. An ambulance pulled up. They put Alicia on a stretcher and put her into the back of the ambulance, with Greg right behind her. Greg got into the ambulance and held Alicia's burned hand gently. Greg started to cry as he looked back at Alicia's house. All that was left was a frame of the house and debris. Then he looked down at Alicia and cried even more.
--2 hours later--
Alicia laid in her hospital bed. She was wearing a cast around her broken leg, and several bandages on her hands and arms that covered the burns. The doctors said only family could come in, but Alicia's parents said that Greg was part of their family since he was the first one to drive to the house and help Alicia. Greg ran in with Alicia's parents, as well as her brother and sister.
"We'll give you two a minute." Alicia's mom said and smiled.
"Thank you." Greg said. He looked down at Alicia as her family left.
"Greg, my whole house is gone. What am I going to do? My parents live 2 hours away. All my pictures and everything, they're gone." Alicia said, starting to cry. Greg wiped up her tears.
"Hey, I know it's gonna be hard but how would you feel about living with me? I mean you don't have to of you don't want to I just thought-" Greg said but he got cut off.
Alicia smiled.
"Yes! Thank you so much, Greg. And I would kiss you but I can't really move or breathe that well." Alicia said as Greg laughed. Greg leaned down and kissed her on the cheek. Alicia's family came in and talked to her.
