SIMON'S P.O.V
I wake up to see Eric and Matt standing over me and Kirk jumping around in circles screaming "He is a vampire!!!". Jace and Clary were in the corner having a deep conversation with Isabelle, Alec and Maryse.
They seemed to be worried. Isabelle spotted me looking at her. She whispers something and all of them walk up to me. Clary was the first to talk, " Bad news Simon" she said.
"Can anyone ever tell me good news?" I enquired.
"It is good news " Isabelle protested and with that, Clary and Isabelle started arguing.
"Stop it, you two", Jace screamed and added (to me) " Simon, this is a dangerous mission and you can get killed, but Clary thought it would be a good idea to take you too, so you wanna come?" Jace said it as if he were asking me to join him for a walk in the park.
"So this is a Dangerous 'Suicidal' mission?" I asked. I recognised that smirk on his face almost immediately and being as cool as possible i said "Count me in".
"One more thing", he said, "We are going to be accompanied by 8 others and i dont think i ll get along with them quite well".
"Huh? Why would you think that" i asked, sarcastically.
