a special weapon

SIMON'S P.O.V

I had my stele and seraph blades, all that was left for us to get started on the mission was for me to get a special weapon. Since Clary was always with me on my shopping trips and Izzy knew about the best shops to find the weapons I took both of them along.
We portalled to a weapon shop not far off and Izzy stared almost hungrily at the golden-silver whips, the way I look at chips and salsa, which was now my favourite junk food ( since it was the only junk food I could eat as Jace told that it would be hard to train me, not like it was easy right now)
Clary wandered around the shop too, looking at weapons and feeling blades. "So?" " What kind of a weapon do you want?" Izzy asked, coming to my sid.
"Umm" I said intelligently looking into her eyes. They were so dark almost black- unless you look carefully, then you find a speck of brown.
"Simon" she said laughing and planting a kiss on my cheek, "We don't have all day,you have to find a weapon".
"Uhh yes of course" I said turning my attention back to the array of dangerous weapons. Then, I saw a slender black- brown bow which caught my eye. I went over and take it in my hand, feeling it. It was of the perfect weight , and felt balanced in my grip. A memory flashed through my brain; me holding a bow in my untrained hands, not knowing what to do. Then suddenly I was shooting down the demon which was attacking alec.
I showed the bow to Clary and Izzy " What about this?" I asked. They looked at it with fascination, as though it were a work of art.
"Sure" Clary said and Izzy just nodded. We paid for my bow and left the shop. We portalled back to the institute.
Clary looked at her watch before announcing "I have a date with Jace... So byee" and going out immediately.
There was an awkward silence between me and Izzy... It wasn't usual. It happened only when she was thinking about asking me something. So, being the awesome man I am, I asked her what happened . Instead of talking, she just dragged me by my collar to her room. Her dark eyes looked wild. It wasn't the kind of wild that she had during fights... this one was- this one was sexy. She locked the door behind her. I managed not to whimper like a kid.
