*Percy's POV*
I felt sick
I couldn't stop staring at him
Leo
Non responsive
Not moving
Barely breathing, he had to use the machine to breath normally
He had his eyes closed, bandages wrapped around his head and upper arms. He looked pale, like he hasn't eaten in a while. His lips were chapped and white.

His legs were exposed. He had scars on his legs from past cuts.

Why didn't he tell me. Why didn't he tell anyone.

He might not ever wake up. Ever

I don't know what I'm going to do if he..... If he were to...

Die...

My best friend? Dying?

Leo Valdez?

No! impossible!

That can't happen.

He can't die

He had so much to live for.

I was sitting near his bed. My head resting on his belly. I can hear him breath. Or I can here the machine breath for him.

I looked at him.

He looked so dead.

I'm so tired. I've been here for a while, just sitting here and watching him.

I miss him.

I miss his laugh, I miss his smile. I miss that way his hair would bounce when he got excited. I miss the way he would scream my name in the halls. I miss the way he would hug me. I miss Leo. My Leo. My best friend.

A tear fell from my face. No, no crying. This isn't the time to cry. I can't. I'll cry when I see his smile again.

I heard a knock at the door. "Excuse me, Sir? Visiting hours are over. You have to come out now."

I looked over to her.

She was a bigger women. Black. Thin curly hair that was put in a little bun.

I nodded and stood up. I got my stuff and gave one last look at Leo.

I smiled roughly. Tears threatening to spill. I held onto his hand and gave it a squeeze.

"Goodbye Leo"
